Replacing the E93A, the English E493A and the Australian A493A, got an updated look, a new grille with vertical bars and the headlights were moved into the guards, rather than on top like the E93A. The Australian version got a longer boot and a steel rather than fabric centred roof. In Australia, not only was the 4 door saloon available, but their own coupe utility version as well.
