November 26, 2023Customers like the quality, appearance, performance, and value of the cellular phone. They mention that it works well on long distances, and is good value for money. However, some customers dislike ease of use and differ on durability. Camera issues so good Phone looks and acts as new, as far as I can tell, and I was able to save a bit of money on it. I decided on the fold for mobile gaming when I don't have my tablet with me. The way it unfolds, I can actually see things on the screen that I can't see on the tablet, despite it being obviously larger overall. I haven't tested if I loose any width from the phone unfolding as it's not wide-screen, but to me it was more important to see more of the up and down for lists of missions I had to do. I'd assume this would make reading emails and books easier as well. the power saving feature as default just dims the screen greatly, I'm used to phones where the default completely turns off the screen. That's also a nice thing as far as the games I play. I can save the battery power while still being able to see the game running in case something I don't expect happens that I need to react to. I absolutely love this cellphone, but, I returned it because someone dropped the ball in accessories, as much as you pay for this phone even thou it was/is a Samsung Galaxy Z fold 2 (older model) it still deserved the best cases for protecting it. My phone was in mint condition, Yes, I would recommend buying it. Just make sure you buy a warranty and don't drop it....the cases are cute, but cute don't protect.
Great phone for most situations

January 31, 2021When folder the phone is very comfortable for one handed use and in this scenario is better than most other flagship phones as it's narrower than your typical mobile phone which really helps it sit in the palm. Despite the front screen being relatively small it's big enough for most tasks.
When you're not on the go or when you really need a big screen you can unfold the phone to get a tablet sized screen that is great for productivity, multitasking and watching videos.
Additionally the phone can be connected to an external display such as a TV or monitor in DeX mode which allows you to use your phone more like a traditional computer and you can also use wired (USB C) or wireless peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, external storage and game controller potentially giving you a PC experience without having to take a laptop with you.
As with most Samsung devices the display is very good quality with a good resolution, colour contrast, refresh rate and brightness. The cameras are decent, not market leading but these days pretty much any smartphone on the market will be sufficient for anyone other than a professional photographer. The speakers are very good and can get pretty loud. Battery life is very good, the Fold can comfortably get through a day and you have plenty of options for extending the battery life such as lowering the screen resolution and/or refresh rate.
The build quality is very good and whilst at first you will probably be treating it with kid gloves it's much more robust than you would expect although the inner screen does take some getting used to, whilst it doesn't feel bad in any way it does feel different to traditional glass. I've not experienced any issues with the hinge although Samsung can adjust your hinge if needed and the hinge and screen should handle over 250 folds a day for 2 years which is going to be well above normal usage.
Whilst it is an expensive product you're getting a very capable spec phone and tablet combined in to one. It's understandable why some people wouldn't want to spend this much money on a phone but for many of us a phone is one of the things you interact with most on a daily basis and if you look at the weekly or monthly cost the phone works out to if you divide the price by the amount of time you'll be using the phone for then if you're someone that will really take advantage of its benefits the value is there. There are cheaper phones out there that have similar or in some cases better specifications but there aren't any other phones on the market that can do what the Fold can do.

May 31, 2023It’s really amazing you can call on it and it flips it’s futuristic. You can enjoy yourself having a good time with it by taking phone calls texting and it’s more futuristic to a joy for the year 2023. you turned it on it’s works just like the Samsung phone you turn it on on the side button and you go into the home screen and then into your phone you can go to all different types of ops on it and it’s really amazing. It’s one of the best flip phones ever for this year. and you can also play some games on it. There’s tons of apps on it. and you never usually run out of room on it because it’s a Samsung phone iPhones you run out of room pretty quickly on them. ?? it would be so cool if you got this phone.
Love It - this is the future

December 24, 2020My phone purchases have typically been driven by size, so I was an early convert to Notes - but as the phones became bigger, they also became more unwieldy to carry and store.
When my contract recently came up, I expected to roll in and buy the Note 20, but on a whim decided to check out the Fold 2 - with the firm belief that it was an outrageously expensive concept phone that needed another couple of models to mature.
Well the rest is history, as the 2 seconds it took to open up the main screen was enough to convert me hook line and sinker. This is the first time that I have been excited by a phone in a long time.
After owning one for a month, the warm glow is still there and I have settled into using the front screen for phone calls and texts etc and the main screen for reading things, which also inadvertently reduces the chance of the softer screen being damaged. The main screen is also sufficiently large to view and make simple changes in Excel and Word and is almost a substitute for a tablet for business purposes.
The challenge of course is the price, but with a student discount and tax deduction, it can almost be justified. Well....maybe
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend it if you can spare the change. The phone fits easily in your pocket and my only request is actually to make it a little bit bigger and narrower, which will no doubt happen with future versions
