Abstract

Method and system for providing haptic feedback to a user interacting with a simulated ('virtual') pet in order to enhance the realism of the relationship between the user and the pet. In one embodiment, this comprises receiving a signal (100) relating to a biological status of the virtual pet and outputting a haptic effect to the user (120), based on the received signal (100).
