Abstract

A device for providing a coloured covering of the teeth, consisting of a light mask (1) of out of coloured, non-toxic plastic and/or resin material, like polyester spiced with colour pigments, exactly shaped onto the tooth mould (2) of each user and that therefore may be applied to the real lower and/or upper set of teeth, thus giving a smile an aesthetic and psychological effect never seen before.

Description

A DEVICE FOR PROVIDING COLOURED COVERING FOR THE TEETH
The present invention concerns a device for providing, in an easy and immediate manner, a coloured covering of the set of teeth which allows the chromatic modification of all teeth with colours different and chosen according to one's taste.
It has been observed that in today's society many people, like young and very young, show people and other find their fun in hairstyling, in dressing and in applying false, coloured nails and in making use of accessories different from the conventional ones; however, for what concerns the mouth and the teeth, nothing has been found if not the application of small diamonds, strasses and similar.
It is the aim of the present invention to realize a device, like a light mask out of coloured, non-toxic plastic and/or resin material, exactly shaped onto the tooth-structure of each user and that therefore may be applied to the lower and/or upper set of teeth, thus giving a smile an aesthetic and psychological effect never seen before.
The present invention will be explained more in detail hereinbelow relating to the enclosed drawings, in which a preferred embodiment is shown. Figure 1 shows an axonometric view of a device for providing a coloured covering of the teeth, according to the present invention.
Figure 2 shows the device according to the present invention, still resting onto the shaping die.
The enclosed figures show the device according to the present invention, consisting of a light mask 1 shaped onto the teeth mould 2 of each user and that may be realized, e.g., out of non-toxic polyester which is aheady widely used in dental mechanics, of a minimum thickness and very light, and coloured in brilliant chromatic tones for covering the teeth of the upper and/or lower jaw with a surprising and lively effect, for music events in a disco, in theatres, in fashion, in parties and in any kind of recreation.
The realization process of the device according to the present invention may be described as follows:
a thin layer of polyester is realized, spiced with colour pigments, but maintaining the known non-toxic feature of the neutral material used; the polyester is, as it is known, a thermoplastic material; by increasing the temperature, said thin layer softens and by means of a vaccum device it will be applied onto all shape details of a teeth mould 2; the material in excess of the teeth covering will be removed by means of a scalpel or similar; when the temperature returns normal, the obtained mask 1 will be removed from said mould 2 and is ready to be directly applied to the real teeth of the used, completely covering them with different colours, according to tastes and needs.
In possible variants, the device according to the present invention provides the colouring of said small mask 1 with fine striations, colour variations, spots and similar.
In still a further variant, the colour used as a pigment in the material forming said small mask 1 may be phosphorescent, luminescent and/or sensible to UVA beams, so as to be glowing in the dark or in half-light.

Claims

1. Device for providing coloured covering to the teeth, characterized in a small mask (1) shaped onto a teeth mould (2) of each user and realized out of polyester, of a minimum thickness and very light, and coloured in brilliant chromatic tones for covering the teeth of the upper and/or lower jaw with a surprising and lively effect, for music events in a disco, in theatres, in fashion, in parties and in any kind of recreation.
2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said small mask (1) is obtained with a thin layer of polyester, spiced with colour pigments, but maintaining the known non-toxic feature of the neutral material used, said layer being a thermoplastic material, adheres by means of a vaccum device to the shape of the teeth mould (2), reproducing the same, and material in excess of the teeth covering will be removed by means of a scalpel or similar.
3. Device according to claim 1, characterized in the presence, in the colouring of said small mask (1), of striations, spots and similar.
4. Device according to claim 1, characterized in a colouring, contained as a pigment in the material forming said small mask (1), that may be phosphorescent, luminescent and/or sensible to UVA beams, so as to be glowing in the dark or in half-light.
