-
FIG. 1 shows a flow chart for describing the embodiments of the present invention and shows a method for preparing a primary crown using a lithium disilicate. - First, a worker designs a model of a primary crown using a 3D computer program (S1). It is preferred that the primary crown is modeled in a type where a dental clinic wants to adjust a type number and size of a tooth for each user.
- After the worker has modeled (S1) the type of a primary crown using the 3D computer program, the modeled primary crown is milled in a 1:1 processing way for each size using a precision milling machine (not illustrated), and a wax model (refer to
FIGS. 1 and 2 ) is processed (S3). - In case where the multiple processed wax models 2 are stuck to each other, each wax model is separated using a cutter. Thereafter, after the wax model 1 has been processed (S3) using the milling machine, the worker disposes the wax model 1 at the front end of a pillar unit 3 a of the spool 3 (illustrated in
FIG. 2 ). - As illustrated in
FIG. 3 , the worker inserts the wax model 1 and the spool 3 together in the embedding frame 5 and inserts the embeddingmaterial 7 in the embedding material frame 5. To this end, the spool 3 and the wax model 1 are embedded by the embeddingmaterial 7. The material of the embeddingmaterial 7 may be a material, for example, gypsum. - After the wax model 1 and the spool 3 have been embedded using the embedding
material 7, the embeddingmaterial 7 is dried (S7). Thereafter, the spool 3 is removed from theembedding material 7. The embeddingmaterial 7 has a cylindrical shape. One side of theembedding material 7 from which the spool 3 has been removed, will have a hole 7 a (illustrated inFIG. 4 ) into which lithium disilicate can be inserted. - After the embedding
material 7 has been dried, the embedding material is inputted into a heating furnace, and the wax of the wax model 1 is heated. The wax will vaporize via the hole 7 a formed at thecylindrical embedding material 7, thus removing the wax (S11). - At this time, it is preferred that the embedding
material 7 is heated for 40˜45 minutes at a temperature of 850˜900° C. in the heating furnace (not illustrated). - As illustrated in
FIG. 4 , the worker inputs lithium disilicate into the hole 7 a formed at the embedding material 7 (S13). At this time, the lithium disilicate is melted in such a way that theembedding material 7 is heated at 700˜900° C. and is stuck in the heating furnace for 15˜30 minutes. The lithium disilicate is pressed at 900˜930° C. for 5˜20 minutes (refer toFIG. 5 ). As illustrated inFIG. 5 , a plunger 9 is inserted in the hole 7 a of the embeddingmaterial 7 and the plunger 9 is pressurized by the pressing device. The lithium disilicate is compressed into the space (where the wax model was present) formed inside the embeddingmaterial 7, thus preparing a configuration shaped same as the wax mode. - The lithium disilicate is cooled (S15). The worker cuts the embedding
material 7 and removes the embeddingmaterial 7, thus withdrawing (S17) a primary crown model formed of lithium disilicate. The work for removing the embeddingmaterial 7 may be carried out using a motored cutter and a sand blast method. - The primary crown model formed of lithium disilicate may be polished through a polishing work. Finally, it is possible to prepare the primary crown model made of lithium disilicate shaped same as the wax model 1.
- The primary crown prepared according to the present invention may be used by a child patient, so aesthetic and strength can be enhanced, and it is possible to express colors similar with natural colors while obtaining a good wearing comfort even though the patient visits only one time the dental clinic.
- As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
