Abstract

Bei einem Schnittsystem (1) für Drahtbearbeitungsmaschinen, mit einem Messerhalter (6), der ein beim Schnitt mit einem stationären Gegenschneidewerkzeug (12) zusammenwirkendes Messer (7) trägt und zur Ausführung einer hin- und hergehenden Bewegung über Verbindungsmittel (5) an einen Exzenterzapfen (4) oder eine Nockenscheibe an einer Kurbelwelle (3) angeschlossen ist, die ihrerseits von einem Elektromotor (2) angetrieben wird, wobei der Messerhalter (6) bei seiner hin- und hergehenden Bewegung in einer Führung (8) gleitet, die stationär angeordnet oder, bei starrer Verbindung von Verbindungsmitteln (5) und Messerhalter (6), um eine zur Drehachse der Kurbelwelle (3) parallele Achse (9) frei verschwenkbar ist, wird die Kurbelwelle (3) direkt von einem Asynchronmotor (2) angetrieben, an den eine Schwungmasse (10) angeschlossen ist, deren kinetische Energie beim Auftreffen des Messers (7) auf den Draht als Schnittkraft freigegeben wird, wobei der Asynchronmotor (2) je Schnittzyklus genau eine Umdrehung (360°) ausführt und so angesteuert wird, daß er nur bis zu Beginn des Schnitts beschleunigt und nach erfolgtem Schnitt abgebremst wird.
