Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a safety net. Such safety nets are used in rockfall and avalanche barriers, as a floor covering to prevent soil erosion or for similar purposes.
So far, safety nets for the above-mentioned purposes have been formed from individual steel wire spiral ropes, the rope ends being connected by a compression sleeve after looping through adjacent rings. Although this type of safety net has proven successful, it is relatively expensive and complex to manufacture.
Such safety nets composed of rings have to absorb considerable impact forces in the installed state, be it in an avalanche or rockfall cladding, and on the other hand they must be extremely corrosion-resistant, since such structures usually remain on mountain slopes for decades. Safety nets that are designed to prevent soil erosion, preferably on steep slopes, that cover the soil directly must be able to take up large-scale landslides and withstand corrosive attacks.
The object of the present invention is to provide a method and a device for producing safety nets with the purpose of producing such safety nets inexpensively and as simply as possible, the safety nets being able to absorb and reduce kinetic loads by means of elastic deformation .
The method according to the invention is characterized in that an individual wire entering a bending mold is shaped in an arc shape to form a ring comprising a plurality of turns, the turns being looped through the openings of at least two previously produced rings during ring production.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that a bending device is provided which forms an arcuated wire into a ring comprising a plurality of turns, there are suspension elements for previously produced rings, the main planes of the suspended rings are transverse to the plane of the ring formed by the bending device , the bending device is arranged to the side of the suspended rings in such a way that the circular windings formed by the bending device penetrate the central openings of adjacent suspended rings.
In the safety net according to the invention, rings are formed instead of expensive, made of several steel wire ropes made by twisting, which consist of a single wire, which is formed into several loose windings, or the like radially thereafter. be held together. Such safety nets are suitable for absorbing high loads. This is shown by the fact that the kinematic loading of such a safety net, for example by a falling boulder, initially results in a deformation of the originally circular rings, whereby they are deformed approximately into a square shape. The network stretches and the forces acting on the network are gradually reduced as a result.
With the device according to the invention, the production of individual wire rings is particularly advantageous and simple. A supplied wire is formed by a bending device into a ring of the desired diameter, a plurality of windings of the same diameter lying flat on one another being formed, which are looped through at least two previously produced rings. The relatively thick wire is more resistant to corrosion compared to thin wires, such as spiral wire ropes.

Eine nächste Ringreihe wird in analoger Weise mit der zuvor hergestellten Ringreihe verbunden.1-4 is produced in such a way that a number of
The motor-driven
So that nets can be formed from
Dadurch entstehen gleichzeitig zwei Ringreihen. An embodiment variant consists in that two finished rings are hung next to one another in the
Another embodiment variant is that a plurality of bending devices working in parallel are arranged side by side.
