Definitions
- the invention relates to a machine for washing tiled surfaces, with a cleaning tape made of synthetic sponge or felt or another sponge-like, liquid-absorbing material which is arranged on the outer circumference of a roller rolling on the surface to be cleaned and when unrolling the dirt located on this surface detected, and with a nip roller, which exerts a contact pressure on the cleaning belt.
- Such machines are known from CH-A-153 771 and are used, for example, for scrubbing, moistening and wiping dry floors, but can also be used for cement slurry removal when grouting plates made of porphyry, quartzite, slate and the like. Like., In particular floor panels with rough, sure-footed surfaces, as well as when grouting clinker and mosaics are used. Absorbed water and dirt is squeezed out of the sponge-like cleaning belt, after which the cleaned sponge belt is ready to be taken up again.
- the invention has set itself the task of improving the machine so that both that picked up by the cleaning belt Dirt is better removed and the cleaning tape itself is cleaned by rinsing with a liquid, in particular water, before each new contact with the surface to be cleaned.
- the cleaning belt for dirt is in contact with a rotating liquid conveyor belt which is immersed in a container containing a liquid, in particular cleaning liquid
- the squeeze roller in the direction of rotation of the roller behind the point of contact of the liquid conveyor belt with the surface of the cleaning belt is arranged, and that the liquid container, the liquid transport belt and the cleaning belt together with the rollers receiving these belts and the squeeze roller form a mobile unit over the surface to be cleaned.
- a dirty liquid drain plate which extends over the width of the liquid conveyor belt or cleaning belt, is arranged and opens into the cleaning liquid container, so that the dirty liquid taken up by the cleaning belt is simple can be removed from the belt before the latter is loaded with new cleaning liquid.
- the liquid conveyor belt expediently runs over two deflection rollers, one of which is located in the cleaning liquid container and the other is arranged at the point of contact of the liquid conveyor belt with the cleaning belt, so that the liquid conveyor belt conveys the liquid out of the container and up in the region of the upper deflection roller releases to the cleaning belt, namely where this belt presses into the surface of the cleaning belt.
- the width of the squeeze roller advantageously corresponds to the width of the cleaning belt, and the contact pressure of the squeeze roller could be adjustable.
- the machine shown in the drawing has a roller 2, which can be moved on a surface 11 to be cleaned, which consists, for example, of grouted plates, the cleaning should be carried out in such a way that the mortar or cement veil located on the plates by mere method of Roller is removed.
- the roller surface 10 is spanned by a cleaning belt 1 made of a sponge or felt-like material.
- the surface 12 of the cleaning belt is in contact with a liquid conveyor belt 4 which runs over two parallel deflection rollers 7, 8 and is immersed in a container 6 which holds the cleaning liquid 13.
- the deflection rollers 7, 8 can be driven, just as the roller 2 can have a motor drive, but there is also the possibility of rolling the rollers over the surface 11 without a motor drive and thereby setting the liquid conveyor belt 4 in motion, since this at position 9 is in close contact with the surface 12 of the cleaning tape.
- a squeeze roller 3 Above the liquid conveyor belt 4 and in the direction of rotation A behind the latter there is a squeeze roller 3, the surface 14 of which is pressed onto the belt surface 12, the contact pressure being adjustable.
- This squeeze roller is provided with spiral grooves, not shown, which have the task of moving liquid transferred from the liquid conveyor belt 4 to the surface 12 and conveyed out of the liquid container 6 from the edges of the cleaning belt towards the center of the belt, thereby preventing that the liquid runs off laterally over the edges of the rollers.
- a dirty liquid drain plate 5 is arranged, which opens into the container 6 and serves to separate the cleaning belt 1 absorbed dirt liquid or the absorbed dirt particles, i.e. cement and mortar u. Like., Remove from the belt and steer into the container 6.
- the plate 5 has a width that corresponds approximately to the width of the cleaning belt or the liquid transport belt.
- the liquid conveyor belt is structured on its surface in such a way that it conveys liquid, for example cleaning water, from the container 6 upwards and transfers it to the surface 12 of the cleaning belt at the contact point 9, so that the cleaning belt is constantly supplied with new cleaning liquid, which indeed in the course of the cleaning process due to the fact that the cleaning container also absorbs dirty water, is dirty, but in any case is cleaner than the dirty liquid, since the dirt particles carried in it settle in the container 6.
- This is dimensioned so that it can hold a large amount of liquid and is also built so that it can be removed from the machine for cleaning purposes.
- a surface can not only be cleaned, i.e. wash, but also provided with an emulsion and even polish if the content of the liquid container 6 is selected accordingly.
- the machine according to the invention works as follows.
- the cleaning belt 1 absorbs like a sponge the dirt to be removed from the surface 11, for example mortar, cement, which is there in a muddy, pulpy consistency, and transports it when the roller 2 rolls forward to the contact point 9 of the cleaning belt with the liquid conveyor belt.
- liquid is transferred from the conveyor belt to the surface 12 of the cleaning belt and, at the same time, the dirt carried along by the cleaning belt is detached from the belt and then together runs with a large part of the cleaning liquid over the inclined plate 5 in the area 6.
- the detachment of the dirt at the contact point 9 is promoted in that the liquid conveyor belt 4 executes a relative movement with respect to the cleaning belt 1, as a result of which there is an intensive frictional contact between the two belts at the contact point 9.
- the dirt that has not been released at the contact point 9 is squeezed out of the cleaning belt together with the liquid remaining on the cleaning belt by the downstream squeeze roller 3 and conveyed into the container 6 by the conveyor belt 4 running in the direction of arrow B, specifically
Description
The invention relates to a machine for washing tiled surfaces, with a cleaning tape made of synthetic sponge or felt or another sponge-like, liquid-absorbing material which is arranged on the outer circumference of a roller rolling on the surface to be cleaned and when unrolling the dirt located on this surface detected, and with a nip roller, which exerts a contact pressure on the cleaning belt.
Such machines are known from CH-A-153 771 and are used, for example, for scrubbing, moistening and wiping dry floors, but can also be used for cement slurry removal when grouting plates made of porphyry, quartzite, slate and the like. Like., In particular floor panels with rough, sure-footed surfaces, as well as when grouting clinker and mosaics are used. Absorbed water and dirt is squeezed out of the sponge-like cleaning belt, after which the cleaned sponge belt is ready to be taken up again.
Starting from this known machine, the invention has set itself the task of improving the machine so that both that picked up by the cleaning belt Dirt is better removed and the cleaning tape itself is cleaned by rinsing with a liquid, in particular water, before each new contact with the surface to be cleaned.
This object is achieved in that the cleaning belt for dirt is in contact with a rotating liquid conveyor belt which is immersed in a container containing a liquid, in particular cleaning liquid, the squeeze roller in the direction of rotation of the roller behind the point of contact of the liquid conveyor belt with the surface of the cleaning belt is arranged, and that the liquid container, the liquid transport belt and the cleaning belt together with the rollers receiving these belts and the squeeze roller form a mobile unit over the surface to be cleaned.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the proposal of the invention, in the direction of rotation of the cleaning belt in front of the point of contact of the liquid conveyor belt with the surface of the cleaning belt, a dirty liquid drain plate, which extends over the width of the liquid conveyor belt or cleaning belt, is arranged and opens into the cleaning liquid container, so that the dirty liquid taken up by the cleaning belt is simple can be removed from the belt before the latter is loaded with new cleaning liquid.
For this purpose it has also proven useful to arrange the dirty liquid drain plate directly below the point of contact of the liquid transport belt with the cleaning belt.
The liquid conveyor belt expediently runs over two deflection rollers, one of which is located in the cleaning liquid container and the other is arranged at the point of contact of the liquid conveyor belt with the cleaning belt, so that the liquid conveyor belt conveys the liquid out of the container and up in the region of the upper deflection roller releases to the cleaning belt, namely where this belt presses into the surface of the cleaning belt.
In order to prevent the liquid applied by the conveyor belt to the surface of the cleaning belt from running off the side of the cleaning belt or running out of it laterally, it has proven useful to provide the surface of the squeeze roller with spiral grooves that extend from the conveyor belt onto the cleaning belt Move the transferred amount of liquid, which is conveyed out of the storage container, from the cleaning belt edges towards the center of the belt.
For this purpose, the width of the squeeze roller advantageously corresponds to the width of the cleaning belt, and the contact pressure of the squeeze roller could be adjustable.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.
The invention is described below with reference to the single drawing figure, which shows an embodiment of the machine in a schematic, perspective representation.
The machine shown in the drawing has a
For this purpose, the roller surface 10 is spanned by a cleaning belt 1 made of a sponge or felt-like material. The
Above the
Immediately below the point of
The liquid conveyor belt is structured on its surface in such a way that it conveys liquid, for example cleaning water, from the
With the machine described above, a surface can not only be cleaned, i.e. wash, but also provided with an emulsion and even polish if the content of the
The machine according to the invention works as follows. The cleaning belt 1 absorbs like a sponge the dirt to be removed from the surface 11, for example mortar, cement, which is there in a muddy, pulpy consistency, and transports it when the
This ensures that the cleaning belt 1 leaving the
