Description
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing orthopedic insoles, the recorded geometri data of a patient's foot in a data processing processing system in an NC or CNC machine tool processable format to be converted to orthopedic to produce inlays from blanks.
For the precise and inexpensive manufacture of ortho It is advantageous for pediatric deposits if this is from a machine tool can be manufactured. For this the patient's foot must be measured exactly what by placing the foot on a measuring plate or measuring soles can be done, or via a conventional Chen so-called blue print, whose shape afterwards scanned into a data processing device becomes. The data obtained here can then be simple be converted into a format that is or CNC machine tool can be processed, so that the orthopedic insoles are then easy, at for example by milling.
Such methods are from DE 38 35 008 A1 and known from DE 40 06 579 A1. The procedures according to the mentioned publications have the disadvantage, however, that the attending doctor or the orthopedic craftsman after reading or scanning the data into the Data processing device has no possibility to influence the data in any way sen. This means that, for example, also measurement errors no longer be considered and the patient an incorrect orthopedic insert is made. Also individual characteristics of the patient's foot, that do not result from the measurement of the foot, but only the attending doctor or orthopedic hand Known workers can no longer enter the factory current orthopedic insert are introduced, so that the patient does not optimally meet his needs receives customized orthopedic insoles.
It is also known from DE 31 32 354 A1, orthopedic deposits from different, prefabricated To produce blanks for different foot shapes.
The present invention is therefore based on the object based on a method of making orthopedic Provide deposits by doing wrong on the patients Prevented orthopedic insoles can be.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the in Proceed 1 mentioned process steps solved.
The fact that the operator, that is, the treating doctor or orthopedic craftsmen who ver read data change and adapt individually to the patient, can use incorrectly manufactured orthopedic insoles be avoided.
The prefabricated blanks allow a quick and inexpensive manufacture of the orthopedic inlet because the blanks are based on empirical values for every foot type (flat foot, spreading foot, kink foot, etc.) prefabricated are so that depending on the patient's foot type an orthopedic insert for each blank can be manufactured. This allows the machining time of the blank on the machine tool be reduced and the orthopedic insert can be produced inexpensively.
Furthermore, there is the advantage that each subject man or specialist is able, due to his Experiences as well as through appropriate, on the patient Insights gained (flexibility, corrective speed, pressure points etc.), the necessary ver care with orthopedic insoles. There the human foot is not a rigid, predictable con structure, but a special one for each individual is a coordinated structure of bones and ligaments, which is held together by muscles and tendons and supplied by appropriate blood and nerve pathways is the individual adaptation of orthopedics deposit is extremely important. The points mentioned can only because of the experience of each subject find people and specialists. By the possibility that in the data processing equipment data read to the individual needs Any specialist can adapt the patient's nisse own experience in the construction of various inlets flow in.
The individual measuring systems for measuring the foot of the Patients only serve an optimal one To create the basis for your own experience to optimize the specialist in addition.
As mentioned earlier, the patient's foot can be over a staff, soles or a blueprint or the like can be measured. In a simple way from the measurement of the patient's foot resulting data, however, also by sampling one manually created orthopedic insert will.
The geometric shape of the manually created orthopedic The inlay is made using a probe or another suitable device, and the individual coordinates of the probe tip Probe queried and abge in short time intervals stores so that from this data in the data processing processing device the exact shape of the foot of Pa can be determined. Other complex elec tronic measuring systems for recording the geometric There is no need for data on the patient's foot by.
The procedure below is based on the drawing principle of the course of the method according to the invention shown.
From a measuring device, which is designed as a probe 1 , which has a probe tip 2 , a manually manufactured orthopedic insert is scanned. Here, the three-dimensional coordinates (in the x, y and z directions) of the moving probe tip 2 of the probe head 1 are queried at short time intervals and buffered in a transducer 4 .
The data temporarily stored in the transducer 4 are then transmitted to a data processing device 5 via a data line 6 . In the data processing device 5 , the patient's foot shape and thus also the orthopedic insert can be displayed three-dimensionally on a monitor.
This is done using software such as the one at for example as software for constructions in the machine nenbau is known as so-called CAD software. With With the help of this software, the geometric data the orthopedic insert to be manufactured due to the Experience and knowledge of the professional optimally the patient's foot can be adjusted.
The sensor 4 can be omitted if the measured values determined are stored directly in the data processing device 5 .
Based on his own experience, the operator can interactively create an individually adapted orthopedic insert for the patient with the data processing device 5 . This can be done, for example, by the operator starting from a blank already stored in the data processing device 5 , which blank is adapted to the patient's foot shape on the basis of the data read in and the experience of the person skilled in the art. These blanks are adapted to the different types of feet (flat foot, spreading foot, bent foot, etc.).
After the operator has carried out the corrections of the read-in data which he believes are necessary, the data in the data processing device 5 are converted into a format which can be processed by an NC or CNC-controlled machine tool 7 , after which the data are transmitted via a data line 8 are transferred to the NC or CNC machine tool 7 and the orthopedic insert is then produced.
The NC or CNC machine tool can be designed, for example, as a milling machine which is equipped with a suitable tool in order to machine a previously clamped blank 9 .
In the exemplary embodiment described, the geometric data of the patient's foot are determined by scanning a manually manufactured, already existing orthopedic insert. Of course, any other method can be used for this, with which data that can be processed by the data processing device 5 can be generated.
