背景技术
毛发和其它类似物质可能变为包裹在机器人真空吸尘器毛刷的末端周围,从而变为缠结在毛刷的末端(例如,轴承和驱动突出部周围)和/或驱动毛刷以相对于清洁头隔室旋转的齿轮箱中。此缠结可使机器人真空吸尘器停工,使清洁较低效,或造成其它不合意的事件。

发明内容

一些机器人真空吸尘器包含清洁头子系统,所述清洁头子系统提供用于机器人真空吸尘器的清洁机构且包括毛刷组合件,所述毛刷组合件包含主毛刷和挡板毛刷,如第7,636,982号美国专利中所说明,所述专利的揭示内容的全文以引用方式并入本文。主毛刷和挡板毛刷可安装在清洁头隔室中的凹座上。每一主毛刷和挡板毛刷可包括中心部件(例如,机架),其具有第一和第二末端经配置以将毛刷安装在清洁头隔室中。毛刷/挡板的一个末端安装到清洁头隔室的齿轮箱或驱动侧,且毛刷/挡板的另一末端可包括轴承,从而允许毛刷在安装到清洁头的相对端时实质上自由地旋转。

图5说明护罩的另一实施例,所述护罩可根据本发明的教示使用以覆盖清洁头子系统的主毛刷和挡板毛刷中的一者或一者以上的至少轴承端。在图5中,护罩78展示为覆盖挡板毛刷60的轴承端14。挡板毛刷60包含例如具有包覆模制件的挡板轴杆62。护罩78优选地不附接到毛刷60,且因此可在毛刷60旋转的同时保持静止。所说明的护罩78可视情况包含整体地模制或形成的轴承16以减少清洁头子系统的部分的总数。然而,轴承16无需整体地模制或形成于护罩78中,且可提供为单独的零件。轴承16允许毛刷轴杆64在安装到清洁头隔室中时实质上自由地旋转。如果整体地模制或形成的轴承16与护罩78一起使用,那么毛刷60的轴(或轴杆)64插入于护罩/轴承的孔隙中。当轴承60与护罩78单独地提供时,可将毛刷轴杆64插入于轴承60中,且随后可将轴承60插入于护罩78中,或可在将轴杆64插入于轴承60中之前将轴承60插入于护罩78中。
轴杆外壳70可围绕邻近于毛刷60的至少轴承端14的轴(或轴杆)64,且包含第一凸缘72和第二凸缘74,凹入区域73位于其间。相对较大的间隙68形成于轴杆外壳70的第一凸缘72与护罩78的邻近内表面之间。此间隙68可允许毛发和类似物质进入轴杆外壳70的位于第一凸缘72与第二凸缘74之间的凹入区域73,从而在凹入区域73处提供用于收集毛发和类似物质的位置,在所述位置处,毛发和类似物质不会使机器人真空吸尘器停止工作。在轴杆外壳72的外表面与护罩78的互补内表面之间的从大间隙68到凹入区域73的短迂回通路34提供在轴杆外壳72的大外径处的短通路。通路34的短的长度通过在任何毛发或类似物质进入护罩中的情况下使毛发和其它物质被卡住的可能性最小化而确保需要最小扭矩,如上所述。轴杆外壳盖70包含从第二凸缘74延伸到在护罩78内部的凹座79中的突出部76。由于从间隙68进入凹入区域73且环绕突出部79而进入凹座79中的通路长且难行,所以提供对轴承16的额外保护。
图6说明用以覆盖清洁头子系统的主毛刷和挡板毛刷中的一者或一者以上的至少轴承端的护罩的替代实施例。轴承16、护罩78和轴或轴杆64的结构类似于图5中所揭示的结构。在图6中,提供包含套筒和护挡72'的轴杆外壳70'。护挡72'从轴杆外壳70'的套筒部分朝向护罩78延伸。护罩78包含平行于轴杆64而延伸的第一壁120、大体垂直于第一壁120而延伸的第二壁122、大体垂直于第二壁122而延伸的第三壁124,以及大体垂直于第三壁124而延伸的第四壁126。凹座68形成于护挡72'与毛刷60之间。毛发收集于挡板毛刷60与护挡72'之间,且提供屏障,所述屏障防止毛发一旦出现初始堆积就进入护罩78中。在护挡72'与在第一壁120处的护罩78内部之间、从凹座68到储集器40"而形成迂回通路34。储集器40"经由迂回通路34接收毛发且相对较大,界定于护罩78的第一壁120的一部分、第二壁122、第三壁124与第四壁126之间。储集器40"提供用于收集毛发和其它物质的位置。
所属领域的技术人员将了解,如图1-4或图5和6中所说明的护罩可以类似的方式使用于根据本发明的教示的主毛刷或挡板毛刷中的一者或一者以上的驱动端上。
图7A和7B分别是根据本发明的教示的机器人真空吸尘器的毛刷的驱动端部分和轴承端部分的至少一个实施例的剖面图。一般来说,优选的是将毛发和其它物质收集在毛刷的轴承端(参看图7B)中,而不是将其馈送到毛刷的驱动端的齿轮箱中(参看图7A)。因此,在优选实施例中,图7A中所示的驱动端部分包含展示为具有护挡(例如,图2和3中的护挡52或52’)的护罩的实施例,而图7B中所示的轴承端部分包含仅具有套筒(例如,图4中的套筒50”)的实施例。因为护挡的添加为齿轮箱提供了额外保护且轴承端不包含护挡,因此,在此实施例中,毛发和其它物质倾向于迁移远离驱动端(图7A)且朝向轴承端(图7B),其优选用以避免齿轮箱故障且将毛发和其它物质引导到用户能够在其处清洁毛刷的末端。因为轴承端优选不包含护挡,所以更多的毛发和其它物质倾向于迁移到轴承端中且被收集于轴承端中的储集器中。
毛刷的驱动端包含具有齿轮82的齿轮箱81。护罩83围绕毛刷的驱动端,且在驱动端处并入到齿轮箱81中(举例来说,参看图16)。连续固定的护罩外壳允许毛刷在固定护罩内的全360度旋转。因为护罩表面中的中断提升了对毛发的捉取,所以齿轮箱外壳优选在护罩表面中的中断内具有单一连续的护罩。
图8A是根据本发明的教示的包含保持装置的与清洁头的驱动齿轮连接的毛刷的驱动端部分的透视剖面图,且图8B是根据本发明的教示的图8A的保持装置的透视图。在图8A中,保持装置80展示为收容于毛刷10的机架24内。虽然将保持装置80展示为附接到主毛刷10,但所属领域的技术人员将理解,保持装置还可与挡板毛刷一起利用。保持装置80定位在圆形凸缘30与齿轮82之间以将毛刷锁定到齿轮82。具有从套筒50”’延伸的护挡52”的套筒50”’可提供于圆形凸缘30与齿轮82之间。
保持装置80可为(例如)能够保持到齿轮82的内部搭扣装置。保持装置80可包含多个互锁部件84,当保持装置80处于啮合位置中时,多个互锁部件84延伸远离机架24。保持装置80在内部安置于套筒50″′与护挡52″之间,且被接纳在驱动突出部86内。当将驱动突出部86插入到齿轮82的主凹座中时(还是参看图17中的齿轮120),互锁部件84各自被接纳在齿轮82的内部内的接纳凹座128中。保持装置80限制毛刷10朝向其轴承端的轴向运动,其通过减小毛刷的驱动端处的间隙而减少毛发和碎屑进入所述驱动端的能力。
举例来说,驱动突出部86可啮合齿轮凹座,例如图16和17中所示的齿轮120的齿轮凹座122,其安置于包含护罩部分的护罩头114内,例如用于主毛刷10和护罩部分的护罩115,例如用于挡板毛刷60的护罩117,如图16中所示。当图17中所示的齿轮120(且在图8A中类似地展示为齿轮82)(其与主毛刷10一起使用)说明为与保持装置80连接时,所属领域的技术人员可理解,保持装置80还可或替代地与挡板毛刷60一起使用且因此可与齿轮124一起使用,齿轮124与护罩117啮合且具有齿轮凹座126。
另外,虽然将保持装置80展示为收容于毛刷机架24内,其中互锁部件84是由齿轮82内的接纳凹座128保持,但所属领域的技术人员将认识到,保持装置可替代地提供于齿轮82处,其中对应的接纳凹座位于毛刷机架24处以保持于毛刷末端处。
本发明的教示的某些实施例预期提供以上示范性实施例中所陈述的毛刷的带护罩末端,所述带护罩末端具有允许其与现有的清洁头向后相容的大小和形状。图9展示带护罩主毛刷的轴承端(右边)的大小和形状可如何设计成与现有的非带护罩主毛刷的轴承端(左边)类似,以用于与主毛刷的轴承端安装到其中的现有清洁头向后相容,应注意第三壁和第四壁(例如,图1中所示的壁48和49)。
图10A展示带护罩主毛刷的轴承端(右边)的实施例,其具有改善的抗毛发特性,但其不与现有的清洁头向后相容,因为其不具有与现有的主毛刷轴承端(左边)相同的大小和形状。可类似于图1中的护罩12的护罩例如较大,因为毛刷护挡包含具有大直径的非可移除护挡26(且任选地具有第一突出部90和第二突出部92两者以用于与护挡的第二凹座啮合以形成额外的曲径),如图10B中所说明。替代性实施例可包含(例如)具有第三壁和第四壁(例如,图2中的壁55和57)的护罩,所述第三壁和第四壁的大小经设计以界定比图9中所示的第三壁和第四壁相对大的直径。
图11A展示现有的主毛刷的驱动端,图11B展示根据本发明的教示的主毛刷的驱动端的实施例,且图11C展示根据本发明的教示的主毛刷的驱动端的另一实施例。如图所示,所述毛刷的驱动端可包含驱动突出部96(例如,正方形驱动突出部),以用于与清洁头隔室的毛刷驱动机构的互补凹座122(图17中所示)啮合。如图11A中所说明的可移除护挡94或端盖可提供于图11A中所说明或图11B的实施例中的现有的毛刷驱动端中的正方形驱动突出部96与毛刷机架24之间。图11B的实施例可允许可移除端盖与机架24的圆形凸缘30之间的更宽的凹入区域,从而为毛发和类似物质的收集提供更大的区域,其中其将不中止机器人真空吸尘器。
图11C展示根据本发明的教示的包含非可移除护挡98的真空吸尘器毛刷的实施例,非可移除护挡98在其外部周边处具有突出唇缘,且在非可移除护挡98与机架24的圆形凸缘30之间形成较宽的凹入区域,从而为毛发和类似物质的收集提供更大的区域,其中其将不中止机器人真空吸尘器。归因于所说明的非可移除护挡的直径,此毛刷实施例可不与现有的清洁头向后相容。
图12A是对应于上文所论述的图8A的现有的机器人真空吸尘器毛刷的驱动端部分的正面透视图,且图12B是根据本发明的教示的机器人真空吸尘器毛刷的驱动端部分的实施例的正面透视图。图12A中所示的现有毛刷包含可移除护挡94和正方形驱动突出部96。相比而言,图12B中所示的根据本发明的教示的毛刷包含非可移除套筒(图12A中不可见),所述非可移除套筒具有从其延伸的护挡99。可经由所说明的驱动端突出部86中的空隙看到保持装置80。
图13是机器人真空吸尘器挡板的末端部分的示范性实施例的侧视透视图(顶部)和机器人真空吸尘器挡板的末端部分的另一示范性实施例的侧视透视图(底部)。展示挡板毛刷的驱动端。顶部挡板毛刷可在毛刷的中心部件与驱动突出部之间包含两个凸缘或护挡部分,而底部挡板毛刷可包含单一凸缘或护挡部分,其中当将护罩安装于挡板毛刷的驱动端上时,在单一凸缘或护挡部分与护罩之间界定储集器40。包含单一凸缘或护挡可为优选的,因为毛发和其它物质在护挡之间的积累可导致若干部分归因于增加的湿度归因于毛发累积而融化。
图14A说明挡板毛刷的现有轴承端。轴承16展示为被拆卸,但可插入在轴或轴杆上且位于挡板毛刷60的末端零件100的凹座内。图14B说明挡板末端零件的实施例,其可类似于根据本发明的教示的图5和6中所示的轴杆外壳70或70’,与相对于图5和6以剖面展示且论述的实施例类似或相同,包含与护罩(例如,图5和6中的护罩78或78’)一体模制或形成的轴承16。图14C提供挡板毛刷的现有轴承端(顶部)与图11B的实施例(底部)之间的比较,其展示辅助护挡(例如,图5中所示的辅助护挡74)的较小大小,但展示主护挡72与辅助护挡74之间的较大的储集器(例如,图5中所示的凹入区域73或图6中所示的储集器40”),以保存已进入护罩内部的毛发和类似物质。
如上文所述,本发明的教示的某些实施例预期为挡板毛刷的驱动端或挡板毛刷驱动端的增加的储集器大小提供的护罩。
图15说明用于机器人真空吸尘器的清洁头子系统,其具有根据本发明的教示的各种实施例而配置的末端的毛刷。图15说明具有支承端112和驱动端113的清洁头隔室110,其中主毛刷10和挡板毛刷60安装于其中,主毛刷10和挡板毛刷60的支承端112根据本发明的教示带护罩,且毛刷的驱动端113在齿轮箱81处具备带护罩齿轮箱外壳114。所属领域的技术人员将理解,上文所描述的实施例中的任一者均可安装于清洁头隔室110内。包含齿轮箱81的带护罩齿轮箱外壳114可与清洁头隔室110脱离,以使得(例如)带护罩齿轮箱可能够与清洁头隔室110分开制造。
另外,如图15中所示,主毛刷110可包含两组刚毛130、132。第一组刚毛130可具有比第二组刚毛132相对大的直径。可提供更多的第二组刚毛132,其归因于增加的刚毛数目而提供更多的地板接触。提供两种刚毛直径类型以能够拾起不同类型的材料。在一实施例中,可提供约70%的第二组刚毛,而可提供约30%的第一组刚毛。所属领域的技术人员将理解,所述百分比可为可变的。另外,第一组刚毛130可具有0.2mm的直径,而第二组刚毛可具有0.1mm的直径。
图16是根据本发明的教示的某些实施例的用于在机器人真空吸尘器清洁头隔室的驱动端上使用的带护罩齿轮箱外壳114的示范性实施例的正面透视图。通过使用所说明的实施例,护罩可位于齿轮箱上,而不是与其啮合以被驱动的挡板毛刷的驱动端上。带护罩齿轮箱外壳114的部分剖面可在图7A中看到,且包含位于主毛刷驱动凹座116的周围的护罩115以及位于挡板毛刷驱动凹座118周围的护罩117。如图16中所见,举例来说,多个接纳凹座128可安置于齿轮内,以使得所述齿轮能够保持保持装置80。

图19A是现有电动机的透视图,且图19B是现有电动机的剖面图。图20A是根据本发明的教示的带护罩电动机的透视图,且图20B是根据本发明的教示的带护罩电动机的剖面图。图20B中所示的电动机包含与齿轮箱外壳142啮合的护罩140,其中轴杆146延伸穿过齿轮箱外壳142。凹入收集区域144提供于护罩140的内部内,且另外能够在毛发和其它物质能够迁移到电动机之前收集所述毛发和其它物质。图21是用于图20A和20B中所示的电动机的护罩140的外部透视图。
通过考虑本文中所揭示的教示的说明书和实践,所属领域的技术人员将明白本发明的教示的其它实施例。举例来说,本发明的教示适用于具有单一毛刷或具有根据本发明的教示的结构的单一毛刷的机器人真空吸尘器,且适用于具有两个以上毛刷的机器人真空吸尘器。另外,本发明的教示一般适用于经配置以从地板提升碎屑的用于机器人真空吸尘器的旋转清洁元件。所述旋转清洁元件可包含毛刷、挡板或类似装置。期望说明书和实例仅被视为示范性的,且由所附权利要求书指示本发明的教示的真实范围和精神。

Claims (15)

1.一种旋转清洁元件,其经配置以插入机器人真空吸尘器的清洁头隔室中,所述旋转清洁元件包括:
驱动端,其包括驱动突出部和保持装置,所述驱动突出部经配置以啮合所述清洁头隔室的驱动机构,所述保持装置经配置以限制所述清洁元件的轴向运动,所述保持装置包含互锁部件,所述互锁部件经配置以啮合驱动齿轮中的一个或多个凹座,所述驱动齿轮啮合所述驱动突出部;
轴承端和护罩,所述护罩经配置以围绕所述轴承端的至少一部分以减少到达轴承的毛发和类似物质的量,其中所述护罩包括:
第一壁,其安置为大体上平行于中心部件的中心轴;
第二壁,其大体上垂直于所述第一壁而延伸;
第三壁,其大体上垂直于所述第二壁而延伸;以及
第四壁,其大体上垂直于所述第三壁而延伸,所述第一壁、第二壁、第三壁和第四壁界定所述护罩的内部;以及
中心部件,其在所述轴承端与所述驱动端之间延伸;
其中每一互锁部件具有附接到所述中心部件的近端并且延伸至定义保持特征的未附接的远端,所述远端配置为可释放地啮合由所述清洁元件的所述驱动端定义的凹座。
2.根据权利要求1所述的旋转清洁元件,其中所述旋转清洁元件的所述轴承端进一步包括:圆柱形套筒,其围绕所述旋转清洁元件的轴杆;圆形凸缘,其邻近于所述旋转清洁元件的所述中心部件且从所述中心部件的所述套筒径向向外延伸;以及凹座,其在所述中心部件的一部分与所述圆形凸缘之间。
3.根据权利要求2所述的旋转清洁元件,其中收集所述毛发和类似物质的储集器界定于所述圆形凸缘、所述护罩的所述第一壁、所述护罩的所述第二壁与所述套筒之间。
4.根据权利要求3所述的旋转清洁元件,其进一步包括位于所述凹座与所述储集器之间的曲径通路,所述曲径通路是在所述圆形凸缘的外径处在所述凹座与所述储集器之间的路径。
5.根据权利要求2所述的旋转清洁元件,其进一步包括从所述套筒向外延伸到所述护罩的内壁的护挡。
6.根据权利要求5所述的旋转清洁元件,其中所述圆形凸缘、所述护挡和所述护罩界定其中收集所述毛发和类似物质的第一储集器。
7.根据权利要求6所述的旋转清洁元件,其中所述护挡从所述套筒径向向外延伸到所述护罩的所述第三壁,所述第一储集器界定于所述圆形凸缘、所述护罩的所述第一壁、所述护罩的所述第二壁、所述护罩的所述第三壁的一部分、所述护挡与所述套筒之间。
8.根据权利要求6所述的旋转清洁元件,其中所述护挡从所述套筒朝向所述护罩的所述第三壁径向向外延伸,所述第一储集器界定于所述圆形凸缘、所述护罩的所述第一壁、所述护罩的所述第二壁、所述护挡与所述套筒之间。
9.根据权利要求6所述的旋转清洁元件,其进一步包括位于所述凹座与所述第一储集器之间的第一曲径通路,所述第一曲径通路是在所述圆形凸缘的外径处在所述凹座与所述第一储集器之间的路径。
10.根据权利要求9所述的旋转清洁元件,其中所述护挡、所述套筒和所述护罩界定其中收集所述毛发和类似物质的第二储集器。
11.根据权利要求10所述的旋转清洁元件,其进一步包括位于所述第一储集器与所述第二储集器之间的第二曲径通路,所述第二曲径通路是在所述护挡的外径处在所述第一储集器与所述第二储集器之间的路径。
12.根据权利要求1所述的旋转清洁元件,其中所述旋转清洁元件是主毛刷和挡板毛刷中的一者。
13.一种用于机器人真空吸尘器的清洁头子系统,所述清洁头子系统包含一清洁头隔室和至少一个清洁元件,所述清洁元件包括:
轴承端和第一护罩,所述第一护罩经配置以围绕所述轴承端的至少一部分和所述轴承端的套筒;
第一储集器,其至少界定于所述第一护罩的一部分与所述套筒之间;
驱动端,其包括驱动突出部,所述驱动突出部经配置以啮合所述清洁头隔室的驱动机构;以及
中心部件,其在所述轴承端与所述驱动端之间延伸,
其中所述驱动端包含:第二护罩,其经配置以围绕毛刷组合件的所述驱动端的至少一部分;以及至少一个护挡,其从所述中心部件的中心轴朝向所述第二护罩的内部径向向外延伸,第二储集器至少界定于所述第二护罩的一部分与所述护挡之间。
14.根据权利要求13所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述驱动端进一步包括保持装置和驱动突出部,所述保持装置经配置以限制所述清洁元件的轴向运动。
15.根据权利要求14所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述保持装置包含多个互锁部件,所述多个互锁部件经配置以啮合驱动齿轮中的一个或一个以上凹座,所述驱动齿轮啮合所述驱动突出部。
