But Pettifleur Berenger, 52, debuted a lighter 'do at the Miss World Australia 2016 National Final on Friday night.

The property developer appeared to sport a peroxide blonde pixie-style cut wig while attending the event in Melbourne.

However, it was her noticeably lighter and shorter tresses that had her fans talking.

Pettifleur posted a selfie with the wig on to Instagram, captioning the snap: 'It takes smart brunettes to play a dumb blonde. What happened to my hair?'
