The game has a similar scoring system to tennis and uses smaller balls but is played in a glass-walled court like squash.
Muzza revealed he is ploughing cash into Edinburgh firm Game4Padel to help its mission to boost the number of UK courts from the current 60.
Sir Andy, 32, said: “Padel is a fast game that’s excellent for hand-eye coordination and racquet skills.
“It’s really exciting to be involved in an organisation like Game4Padel.”

Spain boasts more than six million players while the number of UK courts has doubled in 18 months — with Andy’s brother Jamie a keen player.
Game4Padel aims to get more facilities up and running through deals with councils and sports clubs.
Executive chairman Jim McMahon said of the tennis hero’s involvement: “We have a clear vision on how we can grow padel and Andy’s involvement is key.”
Murray has told how he focused on new projects while recovering from his hip injury. He has invested in start-ups including a salad bar chain and luxury ice cream company.
