Fans are convinced JoJo Siwa has come out as queer after she appeared in two different rainbow-laden TikTok videos on Wednesday night.

JoJo posted a video to her TikTok late Wednesday of her lip-synching to Lady Gaga's “Born This Way." In the video, JoJo mouths the words “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life, I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive,” prompting fans to wonder if this was her coming out as queer. That speculation picked up speed when Kent Boyd, a member of the LGBTQ TikTok group Pride House posted a video of the group dancing with JoJo to Paramore's “Ain't it Fun,” and emphasizing the lyrics “now you're one of us.”

Adding more legitimacy to the speculation, many of JoJo's friends commented on the videos, seemingly congratulating her for coming out. James Charles commented “I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU,” on JoJo's “Born This Way” video, while JoJo's brother, Jayden Siwa, commented “So happy for you JoJo!! Love you!”

Of course, JoJo doesn't owe any explanation of her sexuality, and if she chooses not to elaborate beyond these videos, that's totally OK. It's important that no one labels her sexuality, and instead that we wait for JoJo to talk about her own identity if she so chooses. Without her specific clarification, it's impossible to know if these videos were her coming out, or just her jamming to some fun bops. Either way, it seems clear JoJo supports the LGBTQ community.

While no one can say for sure if JoJo's videos were her coming out, many of her fans are choosing to celebrate anyway.

“JAMES CHARLES COMMENTED THIS SO??? I GUESS JOJO SIWA ACTUALLY JUST CAME OUT UMMM ICONIC,” one fan wrote.

“The way jojo siwa doesn't have to buy any lgbt rainbow merch bc she already has every rainbow product imaginable, she's a futuristic budgeting queen,” another pointed out.

On TikTok, fans flooded her comment section, writing things like “LOVE THIS FOR YOU JOJO,” and “So proud!” Some used the opportunity to remind fellow fans not to label JoJo's sexuality without explicit confirmation, while others celebrated a “win for the girls.”
