I am a retired nurse who has chronic right side pain before and after a hysterectomy at age 35. It caused anxiety and depression and complications after surgery. saw many doctors in IL and US. Doctor Herman is kind, caring, and compassionate. He has said before that in his work he is like Sherlock Holmes. To me, he is similar to a detective. He gathers information and conducts his exam to unlock the truth behind what is making his patients sick. He excels in his work because he is always looking for more ways to help his patients get better quicker. He excels because he loves his work, and he loves trying to unlock the hidden toxins and infections that are making people sick. He is unique because the protocols (remedies) he makes are specifically for you and no one else. He listens carefully and explains things in great detail. He is, truly amazing, and I have great respect for him and the work he does. He works very hard to help you heal. I recently had a 15-pound cancerous cystic mass surgically removed that was in my abdomen area. Dr. Herman is the best doctor I have ever known. I just started first protocol approximately 2 month ago and my 8 years old back pain and sciatica pain has disappeared 5 days after I had started the protocol. I call this a miracle. My UTI problem has gotten much better. No abdominal pain, no frequent urination or urge to urinate. I still have three more month to go to finish five month protocol and I have seen significant changes in my body. Prior to finding Dr. Herman, I was taking antibiotics every month because of recurrent UTI. Thank you Dr. Herman, I am so lucky to have you.

There aren’t enough words to explain how life changing it has been meeting and working with Dr. Herman. I began working with Dr. Herman in January 2023 after a lifelong battle with interstitial cystitis. At the age of 8 I began experiencing very severe chronic bladder pain. This pain impacted basically every aspect of my life. I was barely sleeping and waking up around 10 times a night due to this pain. I wasn’t able to exercise, engage in any sexual relations and had to constantly call out of work due to very painful flare ups. I had seen over 15 urologists/functional medicine specialists etc and none were able to help me. I underwent 4 surgeries in my life with complete sedation - the last being November 2022. After that last surgery the pain became unbearable and I basically was in pain 24/7 and taking AZO/pain medication around the clock.

My first protocol with Dr. Herman after my initial exam was about 5 months long. After around month 3 I finally began experiencing pain relief. It was the first time in my adult life that I was able to go one full day without taking AZO/pain medication. I began waking up only a couple times a night, but even when I was waking up the pain was so minimal that I was able to fall back asleep fast. I was able to have intercourse again which dramatically improved my relationship with my fiancé. At the end of my first protocol in May 2023 I was about 80% better in terms of my symptoms, but I truly felt like a new person. I just finished my second protocol September 18, 2023 and I can now say I am 100% better. I no longer feel any pain and no longer take any AZO/pain medication. I now sleep through the entire night without waking up - something that I have not been able to do in my entire adult life. I can workout now, and am in the best shape of my life. I truly feel like I have gotten my life back all thanks to working with Dr. Herman. I would recommend him and his wonderful staff to anyone who has been dealing with a chronic disease with no answers. I am forever grateful to Dr. Herman for his incredible work and for all he has done for me.

After years of suffering and being bedbound with lots of symptoms, mainly migraines weekly and 24/7 fatigue, many doctors I saw diagnosed me with Chronic Lyme Disease.
First visit was very educational, Dr. Herman is very knowledgeable, caring and a good person all around. He tested me and put me on a customized treatment for me. After a week of taking remedies the migraines went away forever, I started getting my energy back more and more, and now I’m 100 percent whole.
