GREATER Western Sydney coach Leon Cameron is confident the club have Giants’ for life on their hands in Jeremy Cameron, Jon Patton and Tom Boyd.

There has been increasing speculation on the futures of the forwards when all three come off contract with the club at the end of next year.

However Cameron hinted at long-term deals which would keep the three at the club and see them play out their careers with GWS.

“We’re really confident they can play for the next 10 or 12 years for the club, I’m really really confident,” Cameron said.

“Everyone is going to speculate, we have a bunch of young kids who are terrific.

“There is no doubt the other 17 clubs will be looking at our kids, that’s what happens when you have exciting talent on your list, the other clubs will look.

“One thing is for sure, the culture we are building here and the environment we have created is one they want to stay at.”

Cameron also squashed any suggestion that their forward line wouldn’t be able to handle three tall forwards and someone would have to be pushed out.

“In terms of the three of them playing in the forward line we saw it last week against Geelong.

“Jeremy Cameron played one of his best games, Boyd probably played one of his best games in his short career and Jon Patton was the rising star.

“We can clearly see that they all can fit into the forward line along with Adam Tomlinson as well.”

Despite a heavy injury toll at the moment, Cameron said he is happy with the direction that his playing list is going.

“We feel as though we are on the right track at the moment with our current list.

“We’ll look to add some value at the end of the year with possible trades and drafts like everyone else but we’re happy with our list right now.”
