Australian firm AMP has acquired a 49 per cent share in Newcastle International Airport in northeast England.
In a deal reportedly worth £150m (A$233m), AMP will acquire the shares sold by Copenhagen Airports. The remaining stake in the airport will be retained by seven local councils.
