Magic… Stuart Armstrong raves about Tom Rogic

Tom Rogic scored for Celtic against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong has told The Telegraph that he and his teammates are thankful to have Tom Rogic in the side.

Rogic is one of the best players in the current Celtic squad and is playing well at the moment.

The Australia international attacking midfielder has had his injury issues, but when fit, the 23-year-old is one of the best in his position in the Scottish Premiership.

The former Central Coast Mariners star scored for Celtic in the 4-3 victory over Motherwell away from home at the Fir Park Stadium in the Scottish Premiership.

Armstrong, who is 24 years of age, has praised Rogic, and has stated that he and his teammates are happy to have the attacking midfielder in the side.

“He always seems to produce a bit of magic and he has great technical ability,” Armstrong told The Telegraph about Rogic.

“We see every day in training how good he is with his feet and we’re really thankful to have him in this team.”

Celtic are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and are firm favourites to win the league title this season.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are currently at the top of the league table with 37 points from 13 matches.

The Hoops are eight points clear of second-placed and Old Firm rivals Rangers, and have three games in hand.
