It’s a Christmas fucking miracle. Run the Jewels decided to surprise-drop their new album Run the Jewels 3 late on Christmas Eve. El-P and Killer Mike announced the release with a short video on Twitter:

The 14-track album features Danny Brown, BOOTS, Trina, Kamasi Washington, Joi Gilliam, and Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio. Production is handled almost entirely by El-P. It includes the previously-released singles “Legend Has It,“ “2100,” “Talk to Me,” and “Panther Like a Panther (Miracle Mix).”

Run the Jewels 3 was originally set to drop on January 13. The duo’s last album Run the Jewels 2 came out on October 24, 2014 and was widely cited as one of the best projects of the year.
