Google is proud to call Storey County home to one of our data centers.
Google completed construction on its first data center in Storey County in 2020, bringing our investment in Nevada to $1.8 billion between our Storey County and Henderson sites. In Storey County, we employ many full-time and contractor positions, including computer technicians and engineers as well as food service, maintenance, and security roles.
And since 2019, we've awarded more than $1 million to Nevada nonprofits.
