Margot Robbie wants to return to Neighbours as Donna Freedman after admitting she misses the Ramsay Street cast
HOLLYWOOD star Margot Robbie is keen to return to Neighbours after admitting that she misses the soap and the cast of Ramsay Street.
The Oscar nominee, 27, who rose to stardom in The Wolf of Wall Street, has been forced to turn down the chance to return in the past due to her hectic schedule.
But she is determined to cameo as Donna Freedman, although she would miss the likes of Sam Clark and Ashleigh Brewer who she starred alongside during her time on the series.
In an exclusive interview she said: “They have asked, yeah, but it hasn’t worked with where I’ve been at the time but I’d like to because I miss it.
“I had so much fun on the show. A lot of people aren’t there any more though. A lot of people who I was on with aren’t there.”
“Funnily enough I see Sam in LA all the time, we still hang out. And Ashleigh who played my best friend on the show, she’s in LA, we hang out all the time.
“I’ve kind of brought a bit of Ramsay Street with me.”
Margot lost out on a Bafta for her role as Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding in new film I, Tonya.
But she's still in the running to scoop an Oscar for the part after being nominated in the Best Actress category.
She is up against the likes of Saoirse Ronan in Lady Bird, Meryl Streep for her her role in The Post and Frances McDormand in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
