Hi, i have a Zotac RTX 2060 Super Mini and the thing is yesterday it started to artifact during BIOS post and on Windows welcome screen, i tried another monitor, i tried another HDMI cable, i tested RAM with RAM Test and it's still happening. I also tried the iGPU and it worked fine. Could it be something else, like the PSU. I have an i5-9600K, 2x8GB Predator, and the PSU is a BitFenix Whisper M 750W.
Thanks in advance. It seems to ONLY happens when it switches to HDMI (the HDMI logo appears in the top right corner).

Is there a factory overclock on the GPU or the GDDR6?

Hi, no, no OC at all. It's weird because it happens in the BIOS post and in the welcome screen. I don't know how to explain, but it happens when the HDMI (logo?) signal of the monitor appears in the top right corner.

Yeah I just seen it’s running at stock clocks from the TPU review. I was coming back to change my post.

Could it be a cable issue? What’s the card temperatures been like? Artifacts would point to a issue with the memory on the card.

65-66 C while running FurMark (80% fan speed. I have a custom fan curve). This is the second HDMI cable i'm trying. Someone told me to use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable that maybe the HDMI port is corrupted or something like that.

Hi, again! I change the PCIe cable from the PSU, and i think it was that. Could it be that causing artifacts? Thanks!

Anything is possible but I wouldn't of suspected the PCIe cable from the power supply.

Use DP if you have a form of it on monitor (like mini DP or full) anyway, it compresses less and is the better protocol.

It's doing it again. At cold boots, after a day or a couple of hours, it works fine, but if i restart the computer now, i'm getting a red or green line on bios post or/and in welcome screen. Thanks!

Some friend is lending me, next monday or tuesday, a DP to HDMI. Should it work fine? Thanks!

Reseat the card in the pcie slot after cleaning the contacts and the pcie slot, try a different port DP/DVI if you have it. also if possible test with another system and display and if you have the same symptoms then you know for sure it's the GPU and you can use your warranty on replacing it. just make sure your GPU wears a face mask if it is in contact with another system as it will catch covid and die.

You might have a luck if the monitor has DP, but you're converting it to HDMI so a bit eh. I'd suggest DP to DP if you can, though reading up, I wouldn't all count on it fixing the problem either. The Supers do not have the case of having bad old A1 revision vRAM, so I wouldn't suspect that to be it. That normally gives out a lot more errors than the picture you posted anyway. Could still be the GPU though.

I'll ask a friend of mine for a graphics card and i'll test it. I'll give him my RTX so he can try it in another system too. Thanks!

Only HDMI in the monitor. I didn't know about the Super cards revision. Thanks!

I've had almost the same issue caused by a bad HDMI cable. My money is on that.

Hi. I tried 2 different cables. I'm trying a third one... :(

Hi, guys. I didn't think about this earlier, but i plug the hdmi cable to my laptop and to the monitor and voilá, the issue appears. I'm happy because is not the graphics card, but i don't know if it's the monitor, the hdmi port or the cable (but i tried 2 different cables).

Bummer. The likelihood of that being the issue now is fairly slim. You try a different monitor?

Only way to test the port really is to get an hdmi to DP adapter and try that. Otherwise, it's the monitor.

It is an old monitor, 1080p, 60Hz, IPS, LG. I was planning on buying a new one, but, here, they are very expensive. I'm thinking on an LG, 75Hz, Freesync, FullHD, IPS (i can't afford anything better). I don't have another monitor, and this one has HDMI.

EDIT: If i use Custom resolution utility, i OC the monitor to 65Hz and it doesn't happen, but if i roll back to 60Hz i get an artifact line... I'm a little bit confused.
