  1. Looks like a good possibility to me. But, there are similar species, such as Lophyrotoma zonalis and Lophyrotoma interrupta. I'm assuming they are host-specific? Posted 2 years ago, modified 2 years ago

    2. Yes they are host specific but sometimes they get lost when another plant is touching or nearby.

        1. I think you have taken it as far as is possible. (I had a 'theory' about the head colour of larvae to distinguish between cinctus, zonalis and interrupta but, if true, official records suggest much mis-identification already) Posted 2 years ago, modified 2 years ago
