Parenthood star Peter Krause is a late addition to the cast of the Shonda Rhimes-produced series The Catch.

Krause is replacing Damon Dayoub as The Catch's male lead opposite Mireille Enos, reports TV Line.

Enos portrays a fraud investigator named Alice Vaughan who stumbles upon evidence that she is about to become a victim of a scam herself.

Krause will be playing Alice Vaughan's devious fiancé Kieran Booth in the thriller series.

The 49-year-old actor is a veteran of hit television dramas Six Feet Under and Dirty Sexy Money.

The Catch has been developed for ABC from Big Love and Hannibal writer Jennifer Schuur.
