Tripadvisor has announced the winners of its Traveller's Choice Awards for 2022 with two Australian beaches being named among the best in the world.
Western Australia is strongly represented in the world's top 25 most stunning beaches category with Turquoise Bay in Exmouth and Cable Beach in Broome both making the list.
Turquoise Bay came in at third place - jumping up three spots from last year - and it's not hard to see why.

Sitting on the World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef, the aptly named Turquoise Bay boasts vibrant waters, white sands, and perfect warm weather almost all year round.
With buzzing marine life and colourful coral, its crystal clear waters are ideal for keen snorkellers and ocean lovers alike.
'Words cannot capture how spectacular this beach is. Long stretches of white sand and crystal blue water. World class snorkelling for beginners as well as experienced,' one visitor raved.

Turquoise Bay is in Cape Range National Park near the coastal town of Exmouth, a two hour flight or a 13 hour drive north from Perth.

'This is without any doubt in my mind one of the best beaches in the world. The beach is very deep at low tide, and goes on for miles and miles. It is great for watching the sun go down in the evening,' one reviewer wrote.
Cable Beach is the main attraction of the popular Kimberley town Broome, a two hour 40 minute flight from Perth, known for its striking red-rock coastline, pearling industry and year-long summer weather.
