Kristen Stewart is truly the master of debuting new hair looks at film festivals. At Cannes in 2018, she made the rat tail suddenly very cool, and not long after at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival, she revealed that she'd cut and bleached her previously brown hair into a platinum pixie. She's stuck to the latter look for a while, but when she arrived at the Deauville American Film Festival in France, it was apparent that she'd given it a colorful update.
Stewart was seen at several of the festival's events on Thursday and Friday with a shaggy, short hairstyle, her undercut seemingly growing out. While she had an inch or two of medium-brown roots visible, the areas of her hair that had previously been bleached blonde now appear to be a pastel yet bright bubblegum pink color.
The shade picked up on some of the beads on the trim of the blue tweed jacket she wore on the red carpet, which was layered over a cropped white T-shirt with a raw edge. It seems her makeup artist also pulled the color into her eye makeup, creating a wash of pink shadow all the way up to her eyebrows atop sea-blue winged liner.
Speaking of brows, Stewart's are fully brown again, in stark contrast with the bleached, nearly invisible brows she wore earlier this year at the Chanel 2018/19 Metiers d'Art Show in South Korea. She bleached them after her hair had been platinum for a while, so perhaps if she sticks to pink hair for a few months, we'll have pink brows to look forward to at a future public appearance.
