It's called Lake Macquarie but is that factually correct?

Some describe the geographical feature as a lake but others say it's a 'seaboard lagoon'.

The ABC's Dan Cox spoke to Dr David Wainwright, a coastal engineer and University of Newcastle adjunct lecturer, to hear his insights.
