After recasting two major roles in “The Catch,” Shondaland has found its next leading man in Peter KrauseVariety has learned.

The “Parenthood” alum fills the role of Kieran Booth, taking the place of Damon Dayoub, who was the original male lead in the pilot.

Krause will co-star opposite Mireille Enos, playing Kieran, a successful, longtime conman who lives the good life with other people’s money. He’s the best at what he does, but may have met his match in successful fraud investigator, Alice Vaughan (Enos). The thriller revolves around Enos’ character, who’s about to be the victim of fraud herself by her fiancé. Between her cases, she is determined to find him before it ruins her career.

The role of Zoe, played by “One Tree Hill” alum Bethany Joy Lenz in the pilot, is also being recast and has yet to be filled by another actress.

The series, set for midseason on ABC, was written by Jennifer Schuur and hails from Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers. All three serve as exec producers with Julie Anne Robinson. “The Catch” is produced by ABC Studios.
