Get whisker to whisker diving & snorkelling with the Seals at Montague / Barunguba Island!


Get ready for one of the funnest experiences you can do on the South Coast! 


The seals are not shy at all and will often jump in the water in large numbers to come investigate and play with you. This is a super fun and interactive experience. 

This trip is for certified divers. Our prices include a PADI Instructor/Dive Master in the water with you. Visibility ranges from 10-40m+ 


First trip of the day on Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun is a 5 hour round trip.

First trip on Mon/Wed/Fri is 3 hours. 


We meet at Apex Park Boat Ramp, Narooma. Please be mindful that our meeting times can vary slightly depending on the weather and season. On your journey look out for flying fish, dolphins, migratory birds & whales (September-November).

A shallow section of the reef in the Marine Park, known as the Aquarium, is the best spot to interact with the seals. The deeper sections of the reef offer beautiful marine life, turtles, golden kelp beds, large bull rays, Grey Nurse sharks (November- April), Wobbegong sharks, Port Jackson sharks, Nudibranchs, numerous fish species and more seals!

In order to experience the best diving of the day, our knowledgeable skippers examine wind speed, direction, tides and swell then will decide the best sites to visit. Don't worry we are lucky that we can always access the seal sites!

December – May is when it is best to dive with the totally adorable SEAL PUPS! Need we say more!


September – November is during the great Southern Whale migration! Humpback Whales travel past our coastline in excellent numbers. It's quite regular to have whales singing or breaching on the trip as well as pods of dolphins along side the boat. 

We have a full range of dive equipment for hire if needed. Just select them as extras when booking.

Itinerary

  • Meet at Apex Park Boat Ramp Narooma. Please be mindful that our times can vary slightly depending on the weather. You will be notified via text confirming your meet time the day before your trip with us
  • Dive equipment fitting if you need, sight certification cards and load the boat
  • Briefing of dive including boat safety and guidance for best interactions with the seals
  • Boat trip 10-15 min
  • Dive with the seals!
  • Return to Narooma

All of our tours are dependent on the ocean conditions and minimum numbers to go ahead. Sometimes tours get moved to earlier time slots.  If this is a possibility we will give you as much notice as possible.

Sea sickness can be experienced even in slight seas and will ruin your awesome day.  We highly recommend heading to the chemist to get some over the counter tablets prior to your trip with us.
