Chinese Star Jasmine - Grow if for the Fragrance.

The Chinese Star Jasimine ( Trachelospermum jasminoides ) is a hardy Evergreen climber which is popular for it's fast growth and extremely fragrant star-shaped white flowers, which occur on mass in Spring and Early Summer. This plant requires a support such as a trellis or lattice along a fence for support, where it will readily provide a privacy screen or cover a wall or wooden picket fence. It prefers full sun but will also grow in semi-shaded areas. It is native to Southern and Eastern Asia, and is happy in Cool Temperate, Temperate and Warm climates. The Chinese Star Jasmine is a very popular planting in Sydney's Suburbs. The photos show plantings used to cover a garage wall and fence, and a large planting along a street frontage.
