Pirotta Services Commercial was approached to design and construct a new entry and exit portal to the Butterfly House located within the Melbourne Zoo grounds. The project had a high degree of sensitivity due to the works taking place which is populated by the butterflies. This meant that we needed to seal the area while constructing the entry and exit to ensure that they didn’t escape. The project involved the removal of the existing structure and a new structure built that blended with the environment. Our team worked with the architects to design a pleasing and inviting entry and exit portals that was functional with an added visual appeal.
