Summary

Physical Description

Large form assembled from various 'found' objects including a watch face, band, plastic figurines and imitation gem stones. The central horizontal bar of the brooch is constructed from a metal watch and band. The face has been replaced with a small plastic figures, of a bride and groom. A shaped metal frame encircles the band which has been pave set with small pink glass diamantes. Attached at the base is a triangular link with a single pendant drop with mounted pear shaped faceted yellow paste stone. Above this this a small tear drop shaped red paste stone. Mounted to each side of the central bar are three imitation gem stones including a large yellow pear shape to match the pendant drop, a smaller circular orange stone and a rounded oxblood all mounted as a cluster. The piece is surmounted with a metal bow-knot ribbon band, with a small winged putto head applied to the central knot. A simple brooch pin is welded to the reverse of the piece.
