Hey all…this is one of my first real attempts at creating imagery using Zbrush and photoshop… hope you like…
this peice is supposed to represent the moon kissing the sun goodnight…

I love it! I Would work more on the stars they are too soft and too large. Too many of them also. The cropped version looks much much better. Superb job! Very original and refreshing!

regarding the background - I think the panorama version is great but also would tweak the stars. plus I’d push the night sky to the back all together, by possibly darkening it and mos certainly not have it blend over on top of the sun because that flattens the whole image. no matter what - the sun and the moon have to remain in the foreground and the sky in the back. only the clouds can be further in the front than sun and moon.
other than that its a great image.
hm… one more thing - imagine circles encompassing each the sun and the moon. I would probably makes those match to emphasize the moment if unity. know what I mean? like an eclipse where the round shadow of one precisely covers the other?

Yarim, and Julian_K: I agree with the advice you gave… I will definately tweak the night sky portion of the piece…
Another advice I would give is to not blow up too much the portion of the suns face. It would look a lot better as a subtle effect…

started with zspheres.
still working on the rendering using photoshop… will just render as some material?
C&C is needed… but I am not going to rework it at this time… but would like to know what I could improve on…

Really love that last sculpt. Great expression. The hair is very cool. 
Great Model so far, give her some color … and put some work on the hands. The fingers are a bit off proportion.

really had fun with this one… will probally sculpt in Zbrush eventually…after i finish some other projects…
I will have another painting I did completely in Zbrush(without photoshop) I will show soon
Zbrush is my favorite package i will soon hopefully do every thing inside it…

hey thanks moonlitmaverick… for this piece i used the standard ZBrush canvas…
i just turned off Zadd for this one…i like paintstop but have not got into it yet…
I hope to eventually sculpt this piece in ZBrush… after i finish this current project
