If you want to catch fish on your vacation on the Cape, you really can't go wrong with Reel Deal. If there are fish to be had, the captain will find them and you will land your fish, whether you know a thing about fishing or not. Captain Bobby was our fishing guide this past week and we were fortunate enough to go out on an overcast morning that discouraged throngs of boaters from clogging the waterways. There was a chance of rain so the captain provided all of us with excellent rain gear just in case there were showers.
Captain Bobby is a conservationist who is thoughtful and protective of the ocean. We tossed back fish that were too small (striped bass must be between 28-34 inches) and tossed back fish once our quota was met. Under his expert navigation, he took us to waters teaming with striped bass and cast out for those of us who are not skilled with fishing rods. He helped us reel in the fish, net them, and bring them on board to check their length. Success was at hand because he knows what he is doing, not because we had much skill, but he made everyone feel great about their fishing and provided fun along the way. He even took us to waters where he thought we might see whales, and we did!
This was a terrific family trip that was fun for everyone. I recommend the early morning trip as the fishing is usually best in the early morning hours, and there is something pretty magical about getting up at 4:00 am for an adventure. We loved it and highly recommend the experience.

This was our third time out with Captain Ian of the Reel Deal team. And every time we have been out we see the morning dawn while bringing multiple fish on board. Our latest trip here, we caught over 30 fish on the 4 hour charter. Most of those Striped Bass were caught within a 2 hour period and some pretty sizable ones at that. Captain Ian is super friendly, very efficient at his work and gets the bait fish caught quick and on to the fishing before the sun is up in the sky. We love the early morning sunrise of off Race Point and the tip of the Cape. Super great experience that my growing children look forward to every time. If you don't have a boat, love fishing and visit the Cape every year. This is a MUST DO activity!

Five of us went out on 7/23 with Captain Ian and we had so much fun! This was the first charter fishing trip we’ve gone on and we caught more striper than we’ve ever caught in all of the 20-something years we’ve been fishing on the Cape. Captain Ian is an extremely talented fisherman - he has decades of fishing experience and it’s obvious that he really knows what he’s doing and takes a lot of pride in his work. Anyone who has fished on a boat off the Cape knows that it can be stressful with multiple people on the boat and multiple lines in the water at the same time. It was no problem for Captain Ian, though. He was able to effectively locate the fish, get lines in quickly, and get fish on within minutes of casting. We were all impressed with his ability to multitask, often with multiple fish on at once. From catching the bait fish, to finding the striper, maneuvering the boat, baiting the lines, providing us with tips to catch the fish and reel more efficiently, taking pictures of us with our catch, to filleting the keepers, Captain Ian can seriously do it all. With his expertise, each of us caught a keeper and were able to catch and release at least three more each. We definitely recommend Reel Deal Fishing Charters and Captain Ian! We had a lot of fun, caught a lot of fish, and learned a lot in the process!

My group went out with captain Bobby. I’m surprised we even learned his name because he wasn’t concerned with learning ours. We started by catching bait fish. Bobby would yell at us the whole time and as we scrambled to pick up flopping fish on the deck. When we found stripper Bobby would get it on the line and then let one of us reel it in. Once again yelling at us the whole time even though he never gave us an ounce of instruction on what to do. “Keep the LINE tight” “god you’re doing it all wrong”. ..At one point he yanks the pole out of one our group members hands and mocks her by showing how easy it is to reel in. Bobby was one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever met. For a captain and owner the way he acted was completely unprofessional. I’d recommend any other charter on the cape over reel deal.

The title says it all - if you want to catch tuna Captain Bobby and his team are the best at what they do. Everything is top notch - the booking process, Elena who handles scheduling etc. is super responsive, the boats, the gear, the crew (Captain Chad on his day off), the fishing, the cleaning and filleting afterwards, and of course Captain Bobby himself. They know how to find the tuna and avoid hanging out with the fleet and have a great network of intel to cover a lot of ground to pinpoint the best spot. We were originally cancelled due to weather but we got multiple days advance notice which was really appreciated, and our trip on Oct. 18th was phenomenal - landed 3 tuna between 67 and 85+ inches out of our four hookups. Great people and a great time.

We took a half day, striper trip with Captain Ian and had a blast! We jigged the bottom for schools of striper and had awesome success. We knew we were fishing a time when larger fish had already moved off, however, Ian still got us on our keeper limit. We boated around 20 stripers and an unimaginable amount of mackerel.
Reel Deal is very professional. I challenge everyone to remember that it’s called fishing, not catching, but this charter service, and Ian especially, make the two things seem synonymous.

Reel deal is very easy to book with, they reply back to emails and phone calls very quickly.
Captain Ian was awesome! He made our group feel comfortable and safe on our way out. As soon as we stopped for bait he made sure we fished for ideal bait, without wasting time he brought us to where the fish were and sure enough we caught a nice keeper. Ian helped during the whole process, made sure we got lots of pictures. At the end of the trip he let us fish from the docks.. we caught a some stripers while he filleted our fish and we all left happy and satisfied. Such a fun trip. Can’t wait to do it again next year(:

If you're looking for the best fishing charter in Massachusetts The Reel Deal Fishing charters is the way to go. Captain Bobby Rice kept us on the fish all day and gave us a great experience. I highly recommend The Reel Deal Fishing Charters you won’t be disappointed

Captain Ian is a world class charter captain. He works non stop to make sure everyone is having a great time and puts you on fish every time. I’ve been on numerous charters along the east coast and fishing with Ian of Reel Deal Charter’s is by far the best! He is the best striped bass and tuna captain around and I promise you won’t be disappointed if you book a trip with him!

7 years running with Reel Deal and another great day! Captains Bobby and Chad found the fish quickly and kept us on them for the duration of the trip. Our group included two first timers who had a blast and have instantly joined the growing group of Reel Deal loyalists in our extended family. Pretty simple,....if you are looking for a fun and successful Cape Cod striper charter, fish with the Reel Deal!!

Our trip was stripers only. We also saw whales, but only when we went around Race Point to the ocean side to get some bait fish, and Ian didn't go out of the way to get closer to them.
