Google Mini Help

We have made the Mini as easy to set up, administer, and maintain as possible. The Google Mini can installed, configured, and crawling in just one hour. Since it is an integrated hardware and software appliance, you won't waste any time installing an operating system, configuring drivers, or installing software. For some of our customers, the most challenging aspect of the installation was finding a place to put the Mini! Realistically, an installation will typically take more than an hour, but Google Mini deployments are still measured in hours and days, and not in weeks like other enterprise search products. The biggest area that customers experience unforeseen delays is in customizing the search interface. Since the Mini's search page and search results can be customized using our WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor, or revamped entirely using a custom XSLT stylesheet, customers sometimes spend more time than they intended to on this phase of deployment.
