[57] ABSTRACT
The present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for packaging a substance together with a freshness-keeping agent such as a deoxidizer, wherein, a belt-like member of the deoxidizer bags is cut into individual bags, which successively receive adhesive. Each bag is then supplied to a packaging film to be secured thereto. The packaging film is fed to a packaging machine, at which a substance such as foodstuff is packaged within the film.
