CAMPO DE APLICACIÓN SCOPE
El presente modelo de utilidad se relaciona con un contenedor o envase para contener explosivos, o envase, el cual está destinado a procedimientos de detonación principalmente en la industria minera This utility model is related to a container or container to contain explosives, or container, which is intended for detonation procedures mainly in the mining industry
ANTECEDENTES BACKGROUND
Pentolite is a high-power explosive product, which is made to be used as raw material in the manufacture of explosive charges of type initiators or boosters. These initiators protect the explosive mixture they contain, allowing it to not be directly exposed to shocks or other external factors, and in turn have a greater resistance to water present in some perforations.
Pentolite is made up of PETN (pentaerythritol tetranitrate) and TNT (trinitrotoluene). Only part of the PETN is dissolved in the TNT, the remainder being in the form of suspended crystals. This mixture remains relatively homogeneous during stirring for the preparation of the explosive charge, but when it stops stirring, the PETN crystals precipitate. In the packages used actualemten, if the Pentolite does not cool quickly, the PETN crystals precipitate and concentrate on the opposite side to the initiation of the booster with respect to the required detonators. Additionally, the filling of the packages is done in layers (2 to 3), to achieve the correct final weight of the product. This implies a time in reviewing the containers, which decreases the efficiency and productivity of the explosives preparation process. In order to overcome these deficiencies of the current packaging, a new type of packaging is presented, which presents technical advantages with conodic packaging.
The configuration of the packages of the present utility model allows the precipitation of the PETN crystals to occur on the side where the initiation of the Pentolite occurs. This increases the probability of detonation of the Pentolite, reducing the remaining shots caused by this cause.
Another technical advantage presented by the containers of the present utility model is that their new covers comprise ducts or blind pins, thus reducing the probability that the same lid will come out when it is badly hung, avoiding the risk of loss of mixing.
An additional technical advantage is that with the containers of the present utility model it is possible to be filled in a single stage. This implies the reduction of the filling time per container and, as a consequence, productivity is increased. Another technical effect is that this configuration allows a different filling system than the current one to be used where instead of using a plastic container, a system with more capacity or an automatic type system is used.
