The present invention, referring to footwear with therapeutic properties, falls within the technical field of the constituent parts of the footwear, specifically in that of the interior trimmings, as well as in the field of tissue treatments.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Among the different constituent parts of the footwear, in its closed shoe form, the lining is one of those that comes into direct contact with the user's foot when covering the inside of the shoe avoiding the friction of the foot with the inner side of the shoes. materials that form the shovel and the toe. It is, therefore, essential to determine the characteristics of comfort, adaptability and isolation of a shoe, and can be modified by various techniques to give it additional beneficial functionalities that improve these properties and, therefore, add value to footwear.
The large amount of beneficial properties that extracts of some natural substances such as citronella, aloe vera or eucalyptus have in general are well known in the state of the art, some of which are particularly interesting for the care and well-being of the feet, since for example the essential oil extracted from citronella acts as an anti-mosquito repellent, and also reduces excessive sweating; Aloe Vera is anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and regenerative, and eucalyptus has healing and deodorant properties.
On the other hand, microencapsulation is a technique known and developed since the mid-twentieth century, and consists essentially of immobilizing a substance, in solid, liquid or gaseous form, within a semipermeable polymeric membrane that surrounds and contains it, and that at the It also allows the controlled release of said substance at specific speeds and under specific conditions, also contributing to preserve its biological and physical-chemical properties by isolating it from external environmental conditions. Some of the most common substances that undergo Microencapsulation are vitamins, minerals, prebiotics, antioxidants, enzymes or flavorings. This technique is mainly used in medicine and in the food industry, although recently its use has also been extended in other sectors such as textiles or cosmetics.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention describes a closed shoe type footwear which is granted additional therapeutic functionalities for the user's foot by adding microcapsules in the inner lining of the shoe, said microcapsules containing extracts of various substances with known specific beneficial properties for the foot, such as Citronella, aloe vera, eucalyptus or strawberry.
For this, a lining is preferably made of textile material, specifically cotton, because of the good absorption capacity it presents due to its porosity. As a previous step to the placement of the lining during the shoe manufacturing process, said textile is immersed in an aqueous solution containing the microcapsules, so that these microcapsules are retained in the interstices located between the constituent fibers of the textile material, which subsequently It is removed from the solution bath and subjected to drying to remove the remaining solvent liquid. A textile material is thus obtained that includes in its structure the microcapsules containing the beneficial substances.
Said textile is subsequently used as a lining, covering the shoe on its inside except in the sole area, which is covered by a template. The microcapsules contained in said lining are detached from the textile over time by friction with the user's foot when walking, the microcapsule membrane containing the extract of the substance in question is broken after detachment, which is thus released and It acts producing the beneficial effects sought.
The final appearance of the footwear thus obtained does not differ from that of the one to which the microcapsules have not been added, since neither the thickness of the lining nor its texture varies, so the end user will not be compromised the comfort of his footwear . Microcapsules containing any type of substance that can grant additional beneficial properties to the shoe can be incorporated, and in a preferred embodiment the added microcapsules contain either essential oils extracted from citronella (Citronella), with mosquito repel effects, or a combination of extracts of aloe vera (Aloe vera), and eucalyptus (Eucalyptus), whose synergistic action grants, among others, anti fungal, anti-inflammatory, healing, and deodorant properties, or strawberry extracts (Fragaria), with properties toning in the skin, and in the regeneration of dead cells.
Footwear with therapeutic properties obtained in the described manner provides a series of advantages over the current state of the art, the main one being that it can favorably modify its properties through a simple and economical technique such as the addition to the lining of microcapsules containing extracts of natural substances beneficial to the foot, without changing the well-known process of industrial manufacturing of footwear.

Figure 2.- Shows a perspective view of a piece of the textile constituting the shoe lining, with an enlarged view of an area thereof so that the incorporated microcapsules are appreciated.
REALIZACIÓN PREFERENTE DE LA INVENCIÓN PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
Next, a detailed explanation of a preferred embodiment of the object of the present invention is provided with the aid of Figures 1 and 2 above. The footwear with therapeutic properties described includes anyone who has a generic closed shoe shape, that is, one that completely covers the sole, the toes, the instep, the heel and the side of the user's foot. Said shoe, as shown in Figure 1, basically comprises on its outer part a cut (1) attached to a lower sole (2), while on its inner part it comprises a jig (3) that covers the inner part of the sole (2) and a lining (4) that covers the inside of the cut (1).
The lining (4) of the shoe, preferably made of textile material, includes microcapsules (5) retained in the interstices located between the constituent fibers of said textile, as can be seen in Figure 2. Said microcapsules (5) contain extracts of various substances with beneficial properties for the foot.
The choice of textile material as preferred for the realization of the lining (4), compared to the treated leather or synthetic fabrics, is due to its good absorption capacity. This absorption capacity is based on the porosity of its internal structure, since the constituent fibers of the textile material are arranged forming a multitude of holes or interstices in which the microcapsules will be housed (5).
The incorporation of the microcapsules (5) to the lining (4) occurs in a step prior to their union with the external part of the paddle, within the usual process of manufacturing the shoe. Said incorporation is produced by completely immersing the textile material with which the lining (4) is subsequently made in an aqueous solution containing a certain concentration of microcapsules (5), inside which is the extract of the beneficial substance in question, which is absorbed by said textile material leaving the microcapsules (5) retained in the interstices between the fibers. After submersion for a predetermined period of time, the textile material is removed and subjected to drying to remove the remaining solvent liquid.
The textile material thus obtained, which contains in its structure microcapsules (5) with extracts of the beneficial substance that it is desired to incorporate into the shoe, is cut to obtain the dimensions and the form necessary to constitute the lining (4) that will cover the inner part of the cut (1) of the shoe, to which it is preferably attached by heat setting. The microcapsules (5) are gradually detached from the liner (4) due to the friction produced in said liner (4) by the user's foot when walking, and once detached and due to that same friction, the rupture of the microcapsules (5) occurs, thus releasing the substance contained inside, which may then produce the desired beneficial effects.
In a first preferred embodiment, footwear with therapeutic properties comprises a shoe in whose lining (4) microcapsules (5) are attached that surround and contain essential oils extracted from citronella (Citronella). These essential oils, when released from the microcapsule (5) by friction, allow citronella to act as a biological repellent agent for mosquitoes by driving them away by the smell they give off, a widely known quality and used over time by incorporating oils into candles, patches and vaporizers. This first preferred embodiment allows footwear with especially interesting properties to be obtained for places with a high concentration of mosquitoes, or where said insects act as vectors transmitting serious diseases such as dengue or malaria.
In a second preferred embodiment, the footwear with therapeutic properties comprises a shoe in whose lining (4) microcapsules (5) are attached that surround and contain a combination of aloe vera (Aloe vera) and eucalyptus (Eucalyptus) extracts. Said extracts, when released from the microcapsule (5) by friction, act synergistically obtaining antifungal, anti-inflammatory, healing, toning and deodorant properties. From this second preferred embodiment, footwear with especially interesting properties is obtained in climates with high temperatures and humidity, which can cause, among others, problems of fungal appearance, swelling of the feet and chafing.
In a third preferred embodiment, the footwear with therapeutic properties comprises a shoe in whose lining (4) microcapsules (5) are attached that surround and contain strawberry extracts (Fragaria), with toning properties for the skin, beneficial for the regeneration of the dead cells.
