Abstract

The invention relates to a rain and wind protection apparel comprising a jacket (1) and trousers (2) made of an impermeable material, and characterised in that the trousers (2) are coupled to the jacket (1), said trousers (2) being able to be folded away into inner pockets (5) provided in the jacket (1). Preferably, the trouser legs of the trousers (2) are independent from each other and each one is folded away inside one of said inner pockets (5) of the jacket (1). This allows the trousers of the protection apparel according to the invention to be able to be easily arranged in the position of use or folded, depending on whether the user wishes to use the trousers or not.

Description

PROTECTIVE GARMENT FOR RAIN AND WIND

The present invention relates to a protective garment for rain and wind, in particular composed of a jacket and pants specially designed for motorists and people who, for a prolonged period in the open air, need to be completely protected from rain and wind.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Usually rain and wind protective clothing consisting of a jacket and pants, or overalls, or ponchos made of a waterproof material are used. In the protective garments currently known, the jacket and the pants are independent of each other or if they are overalls, they are fully integrated, or in the case of ponchos they dispense with them in exchange for making the long jacket up to the knees.

In the event that the rain has stopped, it is normal to use the jacket as a warm or windproof garment, but the same does not happen with the pants, which are not used in the event that it does not rain, being necessary its transport independently of the jacket.

In addition, the placement and removal of the pants are usually uncomfortable, since the pants are in one piece and for placement either you do it with your shoes on and with the wet sole soiling the entire inner part of them or you you have to take off your shoes in the middle of where you are and put them back on once the pants are placed, so that only the pants are used in situations in which their use is strictly necessary and their use is foreseen before going outside.

Therefore, the need for a protective garment for rain and light wind that:

1) It can be put on top of everyday clothes

2) Thanks to its small volume once folded, always carry it on top and it can be easily stored

3) Whose pants can be placed and removed comfortably and that can be stored in the jacket of the protective garment, so that it can be used at any time (equivalent to as if it were a rain hood), which serves for contingencies or for uses frequent and once folded its extensions allow its use as a conventional jacket, since they are hidden while not in use.

In short, that it is a complement garment in case we want to protect the body from wind and rain when we go by motorcycle or in any other outdoor activity, and that in turn the legs always stored in the jacket also allow us through a Simple and comfortable system to protect our legs without balancing or suffering the discomforts of typical pants. In addition, its small size allows it to always be carried on top so that it can always be on hand for when it is needed and when not, it is stored in the motorcycle's recess or in the bag, becoming street dresses again.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With the protective garment of the invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described.

The rain and wind protective garment of the present invention comprises a jacket and pants of a waterproof material, and is characterized by the fact that the pants are coupled to the jacket, said pants being foldable for accommodation in provided interior pockets in the jacket

Thanks to this feature, the pants of the protective garment of the present invention can be placed in the use position or easily folded, depending on the user's desire to use said pants or not, that is, it could be equated to the typical hood that It is kept folded in the neck of numerous waterproof jackets that are only deployed in case of need and in the meantime it is stored and transported permanently in the jacket.

Advantageously, the legs of said pants are independent of each other and each one is housed, in the folded position, inside one of said lower pockets of the jacket which is accessed through its inner part. This facilitates folding and unfolding the pants, as it is done independently for each leg. In addition, a single leg occupies a small space inside an internal lower pocket.

To facilitate the placement and removal of the pants and their folding, each leg of the pants comprises a longitudinal opening with a closure, such as a zipper or a sailboat®.

Advantageously, the coupling between said pants and said jacket it can be removable, for example by means of pressure rivets and / or sailboat®, although it could also be fixed. In this way, the pants can be placed and removed from the jacket at the user's discretion.

To adjust the protective garment to the user's body, said jacket comprises a lower rear skirt that arises from a large pocket located in the lower part of the back, where it is stored, and that is coupled with the front part of the jacket itself.

According to a preferred embodiment, said lower rear skirt comprises pressure rivets for coupling with the front part of the jacket, in this way once said rivets are properly fastened and the side tensioners of the lower part of the jacket adjusted, we achieve integral protection of body and legs.

Advantageously, the protective garment for rain and wind also comprises a waterproof hat that functions as a sheath provided with a closure strap, inside which said jacket and said pants can be housed. In this way, the protective garment of the present invention can be comfortably transported occupying a small space, using the hat as a bag, which allows it to be stored in confined spaces such as the hollow of the motorcycle helmet or in the bag .

Advantageously, said skirt comprises a zipper for coupling to a complementary zipper provided in said pants.

In addition, said pants preferably comprise upper adjustment strips, so that the pants are adjusted to the user's legs.

As can be seen in the figures, the rain and wind protective garment of the present invention comprises a jacket 1, pants 2 and a hat 3, all of a conventional waterproof material.

Jacket 1 and pants 2 are removably or fixedly coupled to each other, that is, they can be joined and separated at will of the user, or they can be fixed. The coupling between jacket 1 and pants 2 can be carried out in any suitable way, for example by means of pressure rivets, sailboat® and / or a zipper.

In figure 3, the pressure rivets 9 and the sailboat® 10 shown are used to adjust each leg 2 to the user's leg, in this case the pants 2 attached to the jacket 1.

The legs of the pants 2 are independent of each other and comprise a longitudinal opening 4 provided with a closure, for example a zipper or sailboat®. These legs are foldable and are stored in the lower pockets of the jacket through an access through the inside that closes with sailboat®.

The jacket 1 comprises a lower rear skirt 6, which in the position of use, is coupled with the lower front part of said jacket 1 by means of a removable closure 7, for example pressure rivets or sailboat®. This skirt 6 once coupled its removable closure 7 to the front of the jacket, is adjusted by side tensioners 11 of the jacket that tighten the entire perimeter (valance) of the jacket and allow it to be tightened above the legs, protecting the area between the wearer's legs, occupying the space between the legs of the pants 2.

When said lower rear skirt 6 is not used, it is housed inside a pocket 12 located in the lower inner part of the jacket 1.

The waterproof hat 3 is designed to accommodate inside the jacket 1 and the pants 2 when folded. For this, the hat 3 comprises a closure strap 8 so that it can be used as a bag.

Although they have not been represented in the drawings, the rain and wind protective garment of the present invention can be complemented with shoe protectors and mittens / gloves both of a waterproof and very light material that allows them to be stored in the upper pockets of the jacket so that the user will be completely covered. All equipment, including such gloves and protectors for shoes, fits in the waterproof hat that is its cover.

The use of the rain and wind protective garment of the present invention is very simple. Firstly, the jacket 1 is placed and then the legs of the pants 2 are removed from the respective internal pockets 5, unfolding said legs.

Then the legs are placed around the user's legs, closing the longitudinal openings 4 by means of the zippers or the sailboat®.

Next, the lower rear skirt 6 is placed in its use position, by snapping its rivets on the front of the jacket 1 and pulling the lower side tensioners 11 of the jacket, we obtain a total adjustment.

Finally, jacket 1 is fastened and cap 3 is placed and, optionally, footwear protectors and gloves / mittens (not shown) are placed.

In this way, the user is completely protected from rain and wind.

To remove the rain and wind protective garment of the present invention, the steps opposite to those described below must be carried out, placing the jacket 1 folded with the legs of the pants 2 in the respective pockets 5 inside the cap 3.

A second embodiment of the rain and wind protective garment of the present invention is shown in Figures 6 and 7. For reasons of Simplicity in these figures equivalent elements are identified with the same numerical references as in the first embodiment.

In addition, only the differences with respect to the first embodiment are described below, the remainder being identical in this second embodiment.

In this second embodiment the skirt configuration has been modified

In addition, said skirt 7 comprises an additional zipper 13 to ensure the fixing of this skirt 7 to the pants 2. To ensure that rainwater cannot enter between the jacket 1 and the pants 2, it comprises elastic adjustment straps 14 so that pants 2 fit well to the wearer's legs.

It should be noted that said additional rack 13 could be replaced by any suitable means of closure, for example sailboat® or rivets.

Although reference has been made to a specific embodiment of the invention, it is apparent to one skilled in the art that the protective garment for rain and wind described is susceptible of numerous variations and modifications, and that all the mentioned details can be substituted. by others technically equivalent, without departing from the scope of protection defined by the appended claims.

Claims

1. Protective garment for rain and wind, comprising a jacket (1) and pants (2) of a waterproof material, characterized by the fact that said pants (2) is coupled to said jacket (1), said pants being (2) foldable for accommodation in interior pockets (5) provided in the jacket (1).

2. Protective garment for rain and wind according to claim 1, wherein the legs of said pants (2) are independent of each other and each one is housed, in the folded position, inside one of said interior pockets (5 ) of the jacket (1).

3. Protective garment for rain and wind according to claim 1 or 2, wherein each leg of the pants (2) comprises a longitudinal opening (4) with a closure.

4. Protective garment for rain and wind according to claim 1, wherein the coupling between said pants (2) and said jacket (1) is removable.

5. Protective garment for rain and wind according to claim 4, wherein said coupling between said pants (2) and said jacket (1) is carried out by pressure rivets, sailboat® and / or a zipper.

6. Protective garment for rain and wind according to claim 1, wherein said jacket (1) comprises a lower rear skirt (6) that is stored in a pocket (12) located in the lower part of the jacket, the skirt being fitted (6) with the front of the jacket itself (1).

7. Protective garment for rain and wind according to claim 6, wherein said lower rear skirt (6) comprises pressure rivets (7) for coupling with the front part of the jacket (1).
