Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for monitoring the operating state of a vehicle, in particular of an electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle. In the method according to the invention, a specification which is input by a vehicle user via a user interface and which relates to the vehicle operation is made available to the vehicle. On the basis of the specification, one or more vehicle parameters are sensed by the vehicle. In addition, at least one information item relating the vehicle parameter(s) which is/are sensed is transmitted to a communication device which is assigned to the vehicle and can be operated separately thereby.
