Abstract
The invention relates to a clamping element (1) for shrink clamping bodies to be clamped having an oval clamping perimeter, comprising a main body (3) and a closed clamping ring (6), wherein an annular articulated element (5) is disposed between the main body (3) and the clamping ring (6) and fixed to both the main body (3) and the clamping ring (6). The clamping ring (6) can be heating inductively, for example, thus enabling simple placement of the workpiece (2). The articulated element (5) can be implemented as one piece as a solid body joint and with the main body (3) and the clamping ring (6). The alignment of the articulated element (5) allows reliable radial centering of the workpiece (2).
