Definitions
- This device was invented which features a great significance in re-canalization using balone needless to surgical intervention (Laparoscopic surgery ) via the cervical canal , and this device helps us through a specific orifice , during re-canalalization ,for performing acontrast-media imaging, as the case of cardiologic catheter .
- this device is capable to investigate the uterus cavity to detect any adhesions ,polyps, or fibromas ....
- the device is a central tube of 8 and 10 cm size , suitable for entry into cervix os , fitted with an optical camera at its end that can view the complete uterus cavity through a simple maneuver , and is fitted from the external side with five outlets that all discharge in a streamline form in the central canal , valves on these outlets are fitted to control inlet and outlet materials movement.
- this orifice is of help for the following interventions: - To collect a uterine biopsy.
- the lower central tube is entered to the uterine through the cervix to the cervical os ( Fllope ) using the magnifying lens with the light source .
- the guide wire can be entered through any other os to facilitate re- canalization process .
- a contrast Media - Imaging can be in parallel with the balone or guide wire entering the cervix .
Abstract
The device is used in uterus endoscopy and transcervical fallopian tube re-canalization. The latter is done by non-invasively feeding a guidewire or a balloon into the tube to mechanically unblock and recannulate the occluded lumen. The device is made up of a central tube (5) fitted with an optical camera and four additional access ports (1, 2, 3, 4) leading into a plurality of channels arranged within the device used for fluid management aϊid instrument guiding. Flow rate in fluid management channels is controlled by valves.
Description
Device and method for uterus endoscopy and trans cervical fallopian tube re-canalization.
(T-FTR) 1 - The technical state of the invention:
Due to the significance of re-canalization process to treat infertility caused by adhesion, doctors attempted to invent different method as a means to approach tubes and re- canalization , then laparoscopic means , then attempts were surgical interventions (classical ones) ,then laparoscopic means, then attempting a simple canule to insure trans-cervical tube entry.
This device was invented which features a great significance in re-canalization using balone needless to surgical intervention (Laparoscopic surgery ) via the cervical canal , and this device helps us through a specific orifice , during re-canalalization ,for performing acontrast-media imaging, as the case of cardiologic catheter . this device is capable to investigate the uterus cavity to detect any adhesions ,polyps, or fibromas ....
Technical Description of the Invention :
The device is a central tube of 8 and 10 cm size , suitable for entry into cervix os , fitted with an optical camera at its end that can view the complete uterus cavity through a simple maneuver , and is fitted from the external side with five outlets that all discharge in a streamline form in the central canal , valves on these outlets are fitted to control inlet and outlet materials movement.
Outlets Description :
1 -First orifice:(l) figure (1)
With the a valve for the solution entry or for contrast media- imaging by injecting the contrast media through the orifice .or for putting a pressure watch.
2- The second orifice: (2) figure (1)
With the solution valve (discharge valve)
3- Third orifice (3)figure (1)
With a valve for entering the balone or any other surgical material from the cervical os to uterin then into the tubes .this orifice is of help for the following interventions: - To collect a uterine biopsy.
- For polyp excision.
- To treat uterus adhesions.
- to bring the balone into the fallope for re-canalization . 4- Forth Orifice : (4)Figure (1)
With a vulve for the entry of the guide wire into tubes to facilitate re-canalization procedure with intensive adhesions.
5- Fifth Orifice (Central): (5) figure (1)
For positioning of an endoscope or camera connected to a light source to detect the cervical canal ,uterus cavity , the tubes orifices .
Mechanism of Equipment :
1 - The lower central tube is entered to the uterine through the cervix to the cervical os ( Fllope ) using the magnifying lens with the light source .
2 - A solution with an antibiotic are injected through the obstructed tubes .
3 - We use one of the orifices for entering the balone , with the aid of the magnifying lens , and then re-canalization .
4 - In case of intensive adhesions , the guide wire can be entered through any other os to facilitate re- canalization process .
5 - A contrast Media - Imaging can be in parallel with the balone or guide wire entering the cervix .
6 - Following to re - canalization process , a solution with antibiotic are injected through of the orifices to prevent internal infection , the injected solution pressure is regulated through using solution pressure gauge fixed on one of the orifices .
