Abstract
The present invention relates to an expander for treating bone diseases, having an adjustment means which extends along an adjustment axis and is at least partially coaxially surrounded by a support tube, and having a deformation blade which in a base position extends substantially parallel to the adjustment axis and which is connected at one end of said deformation blade to the adjustment means and at the other end of said deformation blade to the support tube so that the deformation blade deforms from the base position into an adjustment position relative to the support tube when the adjustment means is adjusted, wherein the deformation blade is connect to the adjustment means and/or to the support tube in a reversibly detachable manner. The present invention further relates to an adjustment tool for the expander according to the invention for reversibly adjusting the adjustment means of the expander from the base position into the adjustment position. The expander can be reversibly connected to the adjustment tool.
