Abstract

자동차연비산출장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 자동차연비산출장치는 주행거리산출부와, 실제연료소비량산출부와, 주행거리산출부에서 산출된 주행거리와 실제연료소비량산출부에서 산출된 실제연료소비량에 기초하여 연비를 산출하는 연비산출부와, 차량에 저장된 차량운동에너지, 차량위치에너지 및 차량전기에너지 중 적어도 어느 일방을 포함하는 차량저장에너지의 변화량을 산출하는 저장에너지변화량산출부와, 차량저장에너지가 저장될 때 소모되는 소모에너지를 산출하는 소모에너지산출부를 포함한다. 특히, 연비산출부는 저장에너지변화량을 엔진에서 소비되는 연료량으로 환산한 저장에너지연료소비량을 산출하고, 소모에너지를 엔진에서 소비되는 연료량으로 환산한 소모에너지연료소비량을 산출하며, 실제연료소비량에서 저장에너지연료소비량 및 소모에너지연료소비량을 감하여 유효연료소비량을 산출하며, 산출한 유효연료소비량과 주행거리를 비교하여 연비를 산출한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 운전조건과 전기장치의 가동상태를 반영하여 주행거리와 연료사용량과의 관계를 운전자에게 알려 줄 수 있다.
