Abstract

The invention relates to a device for locking and unlocking a battery tray (1) of an electric motor vehicle, which vehicle is able successively to release and to receive the said battery tray (1) on the frame (3) of its chassis via an opening in the frame of its chassis, characterized in that it comprises means (13, 15, 19) for locking and unlocking the battery tray (1) with respect to the frame (3) of the chassis of the vehicle, the said locking and unlocking means (13, 15, 19) comprising at least one projection or moving rod (17) actuated by an actuating cylinder (13), able to engage for the purposes of locking/unlocking according to a point (11), in a complementary recess (19) in the frame of the chassis (3) or of the battery tray (1), vehicle comprising such a device and battery exchange station.
