Beleuchtungsanordnung und Verfahren zum Betreiben einer BeieuchtungsanordnungLighting arrangement and method for operating a Beieuchtungsanordnung
Technisches GebietTechnical area
The present invention relates to a lighting arrangement with at least one lamp and a sensor for providing a sensor signal. It also relates to a corresponding method for operating a lighting arrangement.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
Often lighting arrangements are used in continuous operation, although this is not always necessary or useful. Examples include corridor lighting, staircase lighting and the lighting of sanitary facilities. The continuous operation creates an unnecessary power requirement. In order to reduce the power consumption of such lighting arrangements, it is known to turn them on and off as required or to dim them. For this purpose, PIR sensors are used in the prior art, for example, which react to infrared radiation, which is caused for example by body heat. Problems arise when such a system is to be used in a cold store. People entering a cold store to spend some time usually wear highly insulating clothing to minimize the loss of body heat while in the cold store, maximizing their possible length of stay in the cold store. In doing so, so little body heat is released that a reliable operation of a lighting arrangement based on a PIR sensor is not possible. Alternative solutions that use at least one light barrier, for example, require an increased installation effort and are therefore unpopular.
Erfasst wird deshalb als Regelgröße eine ab- solute Helligkeit und insbesondere keine Helligkeitsänderung.EP 0 794 690 A2 discloses a lighting arrangement whose light sources are controlled by light sensors for optimum illumination of a workstation with the least possible expenditure of energy without the use of motion detectors. The basic idea is to control the illuminance at the workstation, in particular on the work surface, by means of the light sensor and to switch off the light sources either step by step or to continuously reduce their light intensity to zero by means of a dimmer circuit. In this case, the light sensor is arranged near the work surface on the housing of the light source such that it is not struck directly by the light of the light source. In the teaching of the cited document, it is therefore necessary to maintain a constant brightness, which is why a feedback of the light detected by a photosensor is used to control the brightness of the light emitted by the illumination arrangement. Therefore, an absolute brightness and in particular no change in brightness is recorded as a controlled variable.
Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention
The present invention is therefore based on the object, a lighting arrangement mentioned above or an aforementioned method for Operation of a lighting arrangement in such a way that it can be implemented with low installation costs, a reduction of electricity consumption in cold stores.
This object is achieved by a lighting arrangement having the features of patent claim 1 and by a method having the features of patent claim 8.
Bewegt sich andererseits eine Person in einem Kühlhaus, und wird die Beleuchtungsanordnung standardmäßig mit einer sehr niedrigen Dimmstufe betrieben, so ändert sich das auf den Photosensor einfallende Streulicht, wobei diese Helligkeitsänderung durch den Photosensor erfasst und zum Hoch- dimmen der Beleuchtungsanordnung verwendet werden kannThe present invention is based on the finding that in principle two effects can be seen, that a person enters a cold store or moves within a cold store and therefore a switching on or an upshifting of the dimming stage of the lighting arrangement should take place. For one thing, when, for example, the door of the cold store is opened, light from outside the cold store falls into the cold store. This brightness change can be detected by means of a photosensor and used for switching on or boosting the dimming stage of the lighting arrangement. On the other hand, if a person is moving in a cold store, and the lighting arrangement is operating at a very low dimming level by default, the stray light incident on the photosensor changes, and this brightness change can be detected by the photosensor and used to dimming the lighting arrangement
Moreover, with the present invention, the lighting arrangement can be realized more cheaply than a lighting arrangement with a motion detector, furthermore it requires less installation space. The use of a differentiating device makes the evaluation of the sensor signal independent of any present one DC component, ie the static ambient brightness, and therefore results in a high interference immunity. With a suitable design, a decentralized networking, ie, a so-called domino effect, achieve: If a first lamp, due to the sensor signal, turned on or dimmed, this is registered by adjacent other lighting arrangements according to the invention, whereupon these also turned on or dimmed become. As a result, for example, a corridor or a corridor in a cold store can be illuminated completely or in sections when entered by a person without the need for complex networking of the lighting arrangements.
Preferably, a lighting arrangement according to the invention can also be used in areas in which the body temperature of a person differs insignificantly from the ambient temperature, for example in a bio sauna, a swimming pool and the like. Here, the solution according to the invention offers the stated advantages over a solution by means of a motion sensor.
In a preferred embodiment, a low pass is serially coupled to the differentiator. This offers the advantage that with appropriate dimensioning spectral components of the mains voltage in the output signal of the differentiating device can be effectively eliminated and therefore do not affect the evaluation for controlling the at least one lamp. Particularly preferably, the low pass has a cutoff frequency between 0.1 Hz and 10 Hz. Brightness changes as a result of opening a door of the cold store or by the passing of a person can be detected reliably. It is particularly preferred to realize the differentiator and the low pass by a bandpass. The fact is exploited that a differentiating device can be realized by a high pass.
An optional amplifier coupled between the photosensor and the differentiator allows even greater sensitivity.
In a particularly preferred development, the at least one lamp has a housing, wherein at least the sensor is integrated in this housing. Particularly preferably, the entire control electronics is also integrated in the housing. This minimizes the installation effort.
The drive device is preferably designed to control the at least one lamp in normal operation so that the at least one lamp is switched off or operated at a low dimming level, which in particular corresponds to a light output of at most 10% of the highest dimming level. If incident light is evaluated - as when opening the door of the cold store - the lamp can be switched off in normal operation. If a scattered light change, which was caused by a passing person to be evaluated, it is recommended to operate the lamp at a very low dimming level, which is sufficient to lead due to the scattering of the passing person to an evaluable brightness change.
Further advantageous embodiments will become apparent from the dependent claims. The preferred embodiments presented with reference to the lighting arrangement according to the invention and their advantages apply correspondingly, as far as applicable, to the method according to the invention.
Kurze Beschreibung der Zeichnung (en)Short description of the drawing (s)
In the following, an embodiment of a lighting arrangement according to the invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. This shows a schematic representation of the structure of a lighting arrangement according to the invention.
Bevorzugte Ausführung der ErfindungPreferred embodiment of the invention
Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of a lighting arrangement according to the invention. This comprises a photosensor 10 whose output signal is supplied to an amplifier 12. This directs its signal to a bandpass filter 14, on the one hand differentiates the signal coming from the amplifier 12, on the other spectral components at higher frequencies in the light detected by the sensor 10, which are due in particular to the mains voltage eliminated. The differentiation function of the bandpass filter 14 results in that a signal is provided at the output of the bandpass filter 14 whose amplitude is correlated with a brightness change detected by the sensor 10. In a comparison device 16, this amplitude is evaluated. If it exceeds a predefinable threshold value, then a monostable 18 is actuated, which activates an electronic ballast 20 for a predefinable time such that the at least one Lamp 22 is turned on to a predetermined brightness level.
In the illustrated embodiment, the lamp 22 is operated in normal operation at a low dimming level. If a person 24 passes by the lamp 22, the brightness of the light incident on the sensor 10 changes. This brightness change is used to switch the lamp 22 to a high dimming level. Alternatively, the change in brightness caused by the opening of a door can be detected by the sensor 10. For this purpose, the lamp 22 may be turned off in normal operation.
In particular, the lamp 22 may be a gas discharge lamp, (O) LEDs, lasers, incandescent lamps, infrared light sources, particularly headlamps for infrared cameras, and the like, as well as combinations thereof.
