Abstract

Automatic system for real time data reception and transmission to a central controller, constituted by an electronic router/modem to wireless data transmission and reception capable of simultaneous and automatically connecting to multiple carriers based on their availability of signal with best integrity conditions of real time data transmission, significantly increasing the availability of transmissions.

Description

AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR REAL TIME DATA RECEPTION AND TRANSMISSION TO A CENTRAL CONTROLLER
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] This invention relates to an Automatic Data Transmission System developed to transmit and receive data in real time linked to a central, automatically connecting simultaneously to multiple mobile carriers as a function of their overall signal availability.
BACKGROUND
[0002] In the telecommunications industry, especially in the real time wireless data transmission and reception segment, it is consistently difficult to provide a coverage area free from the so-called "dead signal zones".
[0003] Because the coverage area of a point of signal transmission or repetition is circular, the distance between one or more points can present areas that are free of signal, denominated "dead" zones.
[0004] The delay of the feasibility studies of points for wireless transmission, associated to the difficulty in allocating "physical space" in order to setup their transmission towers, as well as the technical limitation due to the great distances that need to be covered, contribute to aggravate even more the deficiencies of signal coverage.
[0005] The biggest hurdle is to keep the exclusive connection stable for the data submission and reception between the sub-stations that are connected to the central station, situation which is degraded by the lack of availability of physical networks equipped with the necessary technology, significantly compromising the quality of the service being offered.
[0006] A subject matter expert will be able to notice that the state of the technique includes some patents that were filed under the same title "automatic system for real time data transmission and reception to and from a controlling central", differentiating themselves from this filling by being enhancements to the current state of the technology and aiming to correct some of the existing problems. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The proposed system of this Invention Patent allows the data reception from multiple remote terminals, creating infinite possibilities of connections, according to the current needs.
[0008] Such flexibility allows the interchange of data transmission and reception, practically reducing to zero the "dead zones" present in the traditional wireless systems.
[0009] These "dead zones" are, in many cases, result from the massive geographic distances that need to be covered by two or more mobile carriers, be them local or regional, that utilize wireless technology, such as GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution), 3G or whatever new technology that might be developed, or any similar technology that allows synchronous data transmission and reception.
[0010] One of the noticeable advantages of the present Invention Patent refers to the fact that the router / modem is able to automatically connect to multiple mobile carriers at the same time based on their availability of signal that allows the best integrity conditions of real time data transmission.
[0011] After the data reception by the specific router / modem, the data gets submitted in real time to the chosen mobile carriers which, on their end, communicate to the router of the receiving network, from where they can send and receive data simultaneously, resulting in the total neutrality of the device over the system, significantly reducing the interference over the transmissions.
[0012] The system described in this Invention Patent yet presents the following features and advantages:
• Ease of installation in any geographical region, regardless of distance and quantity of points being linked;
• Enhanced possibility of transmitting any type of data, in electronic format, images, sounds and human voice;
• Material reduction of the implementation costs of the transmission systems in urban areas or in areas with big geographical distances;
Agility in the implementation of the system;
Material reduction of the system maintenance costs; Overall lightweight device;
• Complete usage of the local transmission and reception system, avoiding echoes and fake resonances;
• Contributes for the reduction of physical pollution in metropolitan areas.
[0013] One of the goals of this Invention Patent is to provide an automatic system for real time data transmission and reception to and from a controlling central capable of automatically connecting to multiple mobile carriers based on their availability of signal with the best integrity conditions of real time data transmission, significantly increasing the availability of the transmissions.
BRIEF DESCRIPTIONOF THE DRAWINGS [0014] The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given here below, the appended claims and the accompanying drawings in which:
[0015] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a data signal transmission network;
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT [0016] As referred by the aforementioned picture, the automatic system for real time data transmission and reception to and from a controlling central, object of this Invention Patent, is made of an electronic router / modem (7), which can receive data provided from an ATM - Automatic Teller Machine (1), from remote terminals (2), from a server (3), from a local telephony system (4), from an image capture device (5) or from a local transmitting and/or receiving network (6).
[0017] The complete synchronicity between the router / modem (7) and the private mobile lines (8) which, by the mobile telephony carriers (9), receive and transmit the data to the router of the receptor (10), allowing the confirmation of the information by the Datacenter (11) which yet can, through another router (12), ratify the provided information on the connected central (13) in real time, allow the vector of the device a flawless transmission, free of echoes, potential fake resonances, or duplication.
[0018] The foregoing discussion discloses and describes an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. One skilled in the art will readily recognize from such discussion, and from the accompanying drawings and claims that various changes, modifications and variations can be made therein without departing from the true spirit and fair scope of the invention as defined by the following claims.
