Abstract

The invention relates to a thermoelectric module comprising electrical conductive elements disposed in a first course, electrical conductive elements disposed in a second course at a distance from the first course, a plurality of thermoelectric elements disposed between the first course and the second course, a first insulation layer by means of which the electrical conductive elements disposed in the first course can be electrically insulated relative to a heat source, a second insulation layer by means of which the electrical conductive elements disposed in the second course can be electrically insulated relative to a heat sink, a first contact surface for contacting a heat-emitting surface, and a second contact surface for contacting a heat-absorbing surface, improved to allow good efficiency and simple compensation for thermally induced expansions, wherein it is proposed that the first contact surface and the second contact surface are at an angle to each other.
