Abstract
The patient monitoring system comprises at least one transmitter unit (S1, S2, S3) on the patient end to which at least one measuring transducer (5) on the patient end is connected, and a receiver unit (1). The patient monitoring system is characterized by a device (9) upon the actuation of which the transmitter unit transmits an identification signal to the receiver unit (1). The identification signal is displayed on the receiver unit (1), the transmitting transmitter unit (S1 or S2 or S3) being thus unambiguously identified.
