Abstract

An air-conditioner laundry dryer, which uses hot air discharged by the outdoor unit of an air conditioning device, for drying laundry in a closed cabinet. The outdoor unit and the laundry dryer are connected by a flexible duct. To draw out hot and damp air of the dryer, a fan is mounted at the top of the cabinet.

5 This innovation is to harness the hot air which is discharged from the condensing and/or outdoor unit of single and/or multi split air-conditioner.
Background
10 Currently, the heat energy (hot air) which is discharged from the condensing and/or outdoor unit is being simply wasted or worse added to the atmosphere. Our innovation is to channel this heat energy (hot air) to a chamber and/or cabinet for laundry drying. The above mentioned system will operate and enable the users to enjoy the air-conditioning and simultaneously get laundry drying.
15 The above innovation is eco-friendly as the heat energy produced is being harnessed and not simply discharged to the surrounding ambient. Energy saving and there is no need to invest in a separate dryer and thus additional electricity consumption. No unsightly scene of laundry being hung around especially for high rise
20 dwellings and enhance city view.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Figure 1 shows the connection of the laundry dryer cabinet to the condensing 25 and/or outdoor unit of the single and/or multi split air-conditioner.
Figure 2 shows the drawing of cabinet type air-conditioner laundry dryer. Figure 3 shows the drawing of wall mounted type air-conditioner laundry dryer.

CLAIMS:
1. Enhancement of urban dwelling by:
- harnessing of heat energy for laundry drying in enclosed cabinet
- eco-friendly as no heat is discharged into the surrounding ambient no unsightly scenario of laundry left hanging especially in high rise dwellings
