Description

[DESCRIPTION] [Invention Title]
SYRINGE NEEDLE FOR SOFT TISSUE AUGMENTATION
[Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation, and more particularly to a syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation, which has a length of l~6mm and an outer diameter of 0.20~0.40mm (32~27G) and can be accurately injected into a subcutaneous tissue to a depth of approximately l~6mm from the surface of a skin in a surgical operation for removing wrinkles or restoring a sagging region of the skin, while a conventional syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation has a length of 13mm or more, thereby being injected to a correct region without an operator's skilled technique and easily and simply used by any person in a short time.
[Background Art]
In general, a syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation is used to be appropriately and accurately injected into a subcutaneous tissue according to states of a skin so as to remove wrinkles or restore a sagging region of the skin. In an operation for soft tissue augmentation, a drug is not absorbed into a human body by circulation through the whole body, but is applied only to a region, where a lesion occurs. The syringe needle is used with conventional syringes. Since the conventional syringe needles, which are on the market now, generally have a length of approximately 13mm, it is difficult to accurately inject the syringe needles into a suitable region of a subcutaneous tissue. Accordingly, in order to solve the above problem, a syringe needle, which has a length of lmm to 6mm so that the length of the syringe needle can be determined by lengths of wrinkles to be removed so that the needle can be rapidly and conveniently injected to a correct depth so as to maximize effects of the operation, needs to be developed.
Medial treatment, in which various drugs are directly injected into a skin so as to remove wrinkles or restore a sagging skin, originates from France fifty years ago. The injection has a small dosage of 1/10 to 1/60 of that of oral inoculation. Since a syringe is easily applied only to a region to be cured, the injection has the most effective advantage in that the adverse reaction of the injection is lower than that of the oral inoculation. Further, since the drugs are directly injected into a region to be cured, the injection for removing the wrinkles or restoring the sagging skin comes into effect just after an operation.
The syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation is used by various methods, i.e., a method using a MEZO gun and a method by hand. The MEZO gun can control the length of the syringe needle, but deteriorates the sensitivity of an operator due to its mechanical characteristics, thus being not suitable to be applied to a delicate region, such as a face. Further, when a drug having a high viscosity is used, the drag is stuck to the surface of a skin, and thus the MEZO gun cannot be effectively used.
The method by hand is applied to a delicate region, such as a face, using operator's sense. However, since the syringe needle has a length or approximately 13mm, the method by hand requires a skilled technique in order to accurately inject the needle into a skin according to depths of wrinkles.
[Disclosure] [Technical Problem]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation, in which a needle portion has a length of l~6mm so that the needle portion can be easily injected to a correct region according to depths of a skin to be restored. [Technical Solution]
In accordance with the present invention, the above and other objects can be accomplished by the provision of a syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation comprising a syringe hub and a needle portion, wherein the needle portion has a length of l~6mm.
Preferably, the needle portion may have an outer diameter of 0.20~0.40mm (32-27G).
[Advantageous Effects]
The syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation of the present invention can be accurately injected into a subcutaneous tissue at a depth of approximately l~6mm from the surface of a skin in a surgical operation for removing wrinkles or restoring a sagging region of the skin, thereby being injected to a correct region without an operator's skilled technique and easily and simply used by any person in a short time.
[ Description of Drawings ]
The above and other objects, features and other advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a conventional syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation;
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation in accordance with the present invention; and
FIG. 3 is a sectional view illustrating the conventional syringe needle, which is applied to a skin, and the syringe needle of the present invention, which is applied to a skin. [Best Mode]
Now, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the annexed drawings.
A syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation in accordance with the present invention comprises a syringe hub 14 and a needle portion 12. The needle portion 12 has a length (h) of l~6mm. Preferably, the needle portion 12 has an outer diameter of 0.20~0.40mm (32-27G). The unit (G) of the outer diameter of the needle portion 12 is gauge. The syringe hub 14, into which a syringe is inserted, meets international standards, which are uniformized all over the world.
The needle portion 12 of the syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation in accordance with the present invention has a length of (h) of l~6mm. When the needle portion 12 has a length of less than lmm, the needle portion 12 may not contact a subcutaneous tissue under a skin, thus causing the syringe needle not to be used in an operation for soft tissue augmentation. On the other hand, when the needle portion 12 has a length of more than 6mm, the needle portion 12 may pass through a subcutaneous tissue under a skin and touch a blood vessel, thus causing the syringe needle not to be safely used in the operation for soft tissue augmentation. The needle portion 12 of the syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation in accordance with the present invention has an outer diameter of 0.20~0.40mm (32~27G). When the needle portion 12 has an outer diameter of less than 0.20mm (32G), the outer diameter of the needle portion 12 for passing drugs is narrow so that the needle portion 12 can be clogged or bent, thus causing the syringe needle not to be used in the operation for soft tissue augmentation. On the other hand, when the needle portion 12 has an outer diameter of more than 0.40mm (27G)5 an amount of drugs to be injected is excessively large and may cause pain to a patient.
Hereinafter, the function of the above syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation of the present invention will be described in comparison with a conventional syringe needle.
In order to inject drugs directly into a subcutaneous tissue under a skin for removing wrinkles or restoring a sagging region of the skin, the conventional syringe needle with a needle portion having a length of 13mm is used dependent on operator's sense. Thus, the conventional syringe needle requires a skilled technique. Further, when the conventional syringe needle is injected into the tissue to an excessively shallow region, the conventional syringe needle may be injected again into the subcutaneous tissue, and when the conventional syringe needle is injected into the tissue to an excessively deep region, the conventional syringe needle may touch a blood vessel.
When the above conventional syringe needle is installed in a MEZO gun, the length of the needle portion of the conventional syringe needle can be controlled. However, the conventional syringe needle cannot be suitably applied to a region, such as a face, requiring a delicate operation due to mechanical characteristics, and when a drug having a high viscosity is used, the drug is stuck to the surface of the skin.
When the syringe needle of the present invention installed in the MEZO gun, an operator can adjust the pressure of a syringe having the syringe needle according to depths of a region of a skin to be operated, thereby effectively performing an operation and appropriately controlling the amount of a drag to be injected to the region of the skin.
[Industrial Applicability]
As apparent from the above description, the present invention provides a syringe needle for soft tissue augmentation, which can be accurately injected into a subcutaneous tissue at a depth of approximately l~6mm from the surface of a skin in a surgical operation for removing wrinkles or restoring a sagging region of the skin, thereby being injected to a correct region without an operator's skilled technique and easily and simply used by any person in a short time.
Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
